Whatever you do, don’t use Four Points Plainview.  We went to a wedding at Larkfield there this past week and a large portion of our guests who were staying at FP Plainview missed the cocktail hour because of shuttle issues. They had one shuttle and it wouldn’t hold all our guests. The wait for the shuttle to return was over 40 minutes.  If your guests go to the church, then check in to the hotel, then have to get to the venue, they don’t have that much time to spare.

One comment about Larkfield:  They put down courses and remove them in less than 10-15 minutes and THEY DON’T ASK GUESTS IF THEY ARE DONE EATING…they just take the dishes.  I found that they would put down course, and within 10 minutes, deejay would call for everyone to dance, people would get up and then when they came back, plates were gone! 10-15 minutes.  Have a firm talk with them about leaving plates down for longer.  There was plenty of time between courses so no need to snatch them up so quickly.  So much food unnecessarily thrown away.  And I had to, on more than one occasion, tell a server who was grabbing my plate “I am NOT done!” with more than half the food still on the plate.  I was part of the bridal party and I literally was starving by the end of the night. (And I know for a fact others felt the same way.) Not how you want your guests to feel after spending all that money on food.
