Ask your realtor why it’s not yet pending?  It took a few days for a house we had an accepted offer to go pending.

Sometimes things fall through… My parents lost a seller three days before the closing! They might have lost a lot of traffic because the listing was pending.

I wouldn’t take it personally!

The seller would be foolish to do anything that might turn away any other prospective buyers until your deal is signed, sealed and delivered. You wouldn’t be the first purchasers to have financing fall through, or back out fo a deal for all sorts of reasons.

Here things go to “Pending, show for backups” as soon as an offer is received. That’s lame that they haven’t moved it to pending for you!

We were in negotiations with the previous owners of our house when they were quiet for a week.  Turns out they had an open house hoping for higher offers.  It’s a money game and no deal is good to any realtor or seller until the keys are forfeited.

I just agreed to a contract on my condo on Monday & the buyer is coming by tomorrow for an inspection.  I never was asked if I wanted to change the status, I think my realtor is in charge of that?

Speaking as someone who is a first time seller I agree that there’s a lot of panic moments in buying OR selling a place!

Super excited for FI & I to start looking for “our” home Smile
