I was also thinking about getting our BM dresses there too.  They have great deals on the same exact dresses in the stores.  What’s great about House of Brides is that if you buy 2 or more dresses, the shipping is free.  You need to pay for shipping insurance, but that only runs $10-15.  Not bad if you split that up between girls.  Right now Alfred Angelo is giving $20-25 off the BM dresses (in store). So we decided to purchase in store because we would only be saving about $5 to order online.  Plus less headache and worry.

Hope that helps!

A little off topic in that this isn’t on HOB, but I went through this about a month ago, and I was comparing the different companies out there, and ultimately decided to go with Pearl’s Place because they had the best prices (also doing Alfred Angelo dresses for my girls) and I saved them almost 50 bucks off their dresses! Shipping was $12 for all 5 dresses. So the dress originally was 149 in the store, and I got it for them for 102.40 with shipping. I was pleased =)

awesome experience. Both Ms. Penguin and I ordered our dresses there and it arrived sooner than the projected date. Love HOB! Good luck!
