i ordered my wedding dress through HOB and have no problems with the customer service and delivery of dress. it arrived at 12 weeks which was pretty long but i ordered it early so there wasn't really a problem with that either..
my sister ordered our BM dresses from HOB 2 yrs ago. they dresses were great and HOB sent my sis swatches for a price. overall, i don't recall hearing any negatives from my sis. have u checked out bride power or netbride? in terms of wedding gowns, i received some quotes from net bride that were a couple hundred cheaper than the boutiques i visited. good luck!
I found my dress at a small bridal salon by my house and then priced the dress online, where I found it for $200 less. I went back to the local salon and told them that I found the dress for less, and they matched the price. So, now I get the personal service of a salon but the price of an online store. Keep in mind that if you purchase your dress online you still need to get alterations and a bustle.

From the best I can tell, retailors like HOB don't except any returns because each order is "special order"
I'll defintly keep in mind the alterations that will be needed.. I think if the dress is going to need major alterations ... I'll give in buy the dress in the salon and have them do it.
i had to rush order a dress from HOB yesterday bc i found out yesterday that one of my bridesmaids, a cousin, still had not ordered her dress for our 5/24 wedding! (i let them pick their own dresses. oops?) i have my fingers crossed bc i confirmed that they do not allow returns...i'll report back if we have any problems!

Just wondering if anyone has ordered their dress or BM dresses online from House of Brides. I was thinking about ordering a Watters dress from them as it is almost $300 less than bridal salons.
I saw Miss Cherry Blossom ordered her BM dresses from HOB and they looked great. However, I've read some really bad reviews on other sites.. it seemed that the cutomer service in the stores was not good but the online ordering seemed ok.
Has anyone had any experience ordering online from HOB? Did you order BM or your wedding dress? Are there better sites out there?
