I would think it depends on what you like. Do you like Urban, country, traditional?  What sort of pictures are you wanting to achieve?

I would totally do Transco Tower (used to be Williams when I was there).Kemak Boardwalk is super cute too….or I would do Houston Raceway Park in Baytown. 🙂
And how about the ice rink at the Galleria….yes it’s my favorite mall in the whole world…or Moody Gardens or the zoo would make for some fantastic pics.

I know alot of brides go to the big fountain that is near the Art Museum on Main and in Hermann Park.

Beware where you go in Downtown Houston.  For our engagement pictures we wanted a modern, industrial kind of setting with escalators and such, and we thought the new shopping development going in around San Jacinto, Main and Fannin would be perfect.  Well, we got in a few pictures when the very rude rent-a-cop came and told us that it was illegal to take pictures of the property and then escorted us away from the area.  It really put a damper on the day 🙁

A lot of people really like Paraiso Maravilla (http://www.pmhouston.com).  Have you asked your photographer if he/she has some suggestions?

My husband and I are photographers in the Houston area. Some of our favorite bridal spots:

Sam Houston Park (Heritage Society, off Allen Parkway)

Mercer Arboretum (when the light is right, this spot is AMAZING)

Allen’s Landing

We’ve also done an intimate bridal session in our client’s backyard that was one of my favorites! And, don’t forget your reception location-we’ve done a few at reception sites as well.
