I have dreams where I watch people die in AWFUL ways…. So gruesome. The people have faces but I don’t know them from anywhere. every now and then I see these people IRL and I feel like I should warn them its scary! I kinda know how you feel

@Nona99:  One of my nieces sleepwalks and has done some crazy things. It can be very scary and is not easy to prevent. Hopefully your episodes are triggered by stress and will subside :-

@Nona99:  I think this is stress.  WHile you might be feeling better, your subconscious is still struggling and working it out.  I have night terrors and sleep walk, I completely and totally know how you feel.  The more stressed I am, the worse it is.  We are in the process of buying a house (which is nowhere near your stress level) and I’ve been walking my husband up almost every night with screaming or something equally terrifying.  Hang in there!!!  Try to relax and unwind and get to a more zen place before bed,…..  It’s easy for me to say, I can’t do it though.  My mind starts racing!  Good luck!!

When I get stressed out, I have terrible, terrible dreams that I’m afriad to tell people about. I really think it is some kind of sub-consious distress or something.

Wow, that’s scary! I’ve only ever had one paranormal experience and while it was scary, it definitely wasn’t on this level!

Can you identify any patterns leading up to these dreams? Any common themes? Do you feel anything while you’re awake and alert in your home? Tried sage? 🙂

I have night terrors when I am extrodinarily stressed out. I also sleepwalk and talk frequently. I have been known to scratch myself to the point of blood loss. Whenever I have these fits, I have very colorful dreams and it can take me a very long time to wake up from that state.

I would look in to seeing a psych who works with sleep disorders. I’d also avoid sleeping in restrictive clothing and perhaps videotapping yourself while sleeping.

@ohmybears48:  +1

Definitely look into a sleep therapist and the video.

@Nona99:  Hi, love!  You are not going crazy.  After my grandmother passed away she kept “coming back” for awhile and scaring the sh*t out of me in my dreams.

But what you’re dealing with is a little different in that you’re actually walking around, having visions, receiving scratches, etc.  I know those waking kind of “dreams” are the scariest of all,  and you’re seemingly being attacked by a less-than-savory spiritual entity.  It is taking advantage of the energy of your grief.

Can you have your house cleansed?  Have you burned sage, put out salt, etc.?  And there are prayers to help …

I care, so please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help from here.

I’m a big believer in most things paranormal. My younger brother used to talk about an old man who hit him in his bedroom and he would wake up with serious bruises all over his body. Once we had the house “cleansed”, it ceased happening.

I also have a family member who sleep walks- including sleep eating and once sleep driving. It’s a really scary thing to have done xyz and not remember it.

I’m sorry for your recent losses – I agree with the PP – maybe have someone come in and cleanse the house. Stress makes us susceptible to a lot – physical illness and otherwise. So make sure you’re taking care of yourself. ::hugs::
