I'm a July 24, 2010 bride too!! We're getting married at Hycroft manor in Vancouver! Plans are definitely coming along here, we have both venues, photographer, wedding planner and our marriage commisioner booked!!
Awesome!! Vancouver! Thats like complete opposite from me! I'm in Southern NH!! We are getting married in Northern MA!! Whats it like up there in July?

Hey! A long engagement gives us more options and then we can have everything we want for our wedding! I think we are better off!!! 
I just booked my July 24, 2010 wedding for the Capital Region of NY. I am so excited and have so many ideas that my mind is just brimming. It's kinda scary that I actually have a date. OMG, so much to do... so little time... Good luck to all the brides :-)
Hi Ladies! I am getting married on July 24th too! I live in Orange County, CA. I am getting married in Temecula, CA. The ceremony will be in a church. The reception will be at a ranch/winery/bed and breakfast. I am so excited to see so many brides getting married the same day. We need to all keep in touch with each other.
We just booked our venue and our date of July 24, 2010! Which will be just over two years after we got engaged, ugh. But oh well, it's probably good because we can take our time with everything! We are getting married in Vancouver, Washington at a B&B and I'm STOKED!

I'm getting married on July 24, 2010 in Philly - booked the venue -Bartram's Garden - a historic garden on the river, the caterer, got my dress, and picked out bridesmaid dresses. When are you all sending out your save the date cards? Many of my guests are international, so I feel like I should send it out this summer so they can plan their vacations accordingly.
Cadisfly, I think you should send them out sooner than a hometown wedding. Normally save the dates are sent out about 6-9 months ahead. You should probably go with the 9 months since international. How exciting!
We have been engaged 7 months and picked July 24 2010 also. We are starting to get serious about planning now.

I am getting marrie July 24th, 2010 in St. Louis Missouri! We have our church, caterer, photog, and reception venue booked. I'm hoping the "fun" stuff can start now that we've got the big vendors booked and out of the way!
Wow...I think my decision was just made!! We have been engaged for about 6 months and are now setting a date. It is just so much easier to procrastinate! LOL But, after looking through a number of dates, July 24, 2010 popped out to me. And I came across this site..I must say everyone's comments won me over..special props go to the "24/7" bride! 
I am also a July 24th, 2010 Bride! We are getting married at a park in Snoqualmie (seattle area) Washington. We have a tent for the reception (about 120 under the tent and probably seating for 60 out from under the tent), and hte ceremony is nearby outside.
I have sent engagement announcements, booked a caterer and venue, looking at rental quotes (ugh tents are expensive), starting to put together save the dates to send within a month or so. I have found a beautiful dress and my bridesmaids have theirs as well (davids bridal threatened to discontinue the style and they will all be altered a bit so they got them early).
RIght now I am trying to find good deals on the decor and get started on some DIY stuff. I have a reasonable budget, but a tent wedding is a logistical nightmare so as much as I can save money on and pre-plan the better!!

I'm a July 24, 2010 bride too. My fiance mentioned the 24/7 thing. We're having a beach ceremony and a tented reception.

We just recently got engaged in August, and just set the date a couple weeks ago. After driving up and down southern california looking for a venue we chose the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles for a modern wedding. Working on Save the dates and invitations now, and endlessly searching for the photographer. So many decisions!

I'm a July 24, 2010 bride :) I'm getting married in Banff, Alberta Canada. I'm living outside of Boston now...originally from Southern NH. I've worked in the wedding industry for years and it's so nice to finally be the bride!!
So far, everything is booked except for florist...still trying to decide on that. And I'm frustrated b/c I can't seem to make up my mind about color scheme. I've seen SO many wedding colors and themes in my work, and I thought I'd be able to make up my mind. But I keep finding new ideas I like. ugh! But I'm still having so much fun with the planning. And so happy to have fellow 7/24 brides to chat with :)
My son and adorable future daughter-in-law are getting married on July 24th, 2010 at Shelter Cove, on the beautiful cliffs overlooking Pismo Beach, California! What makes it even more special to me is that they picked the date that my late husband and I were married many years ago, on July 24, 1976. Their reception will be in a wedding tent on the Pismo Beach State Golf course right next to the ocean. My son is a romantic, as was his father, and proposed to his fiance on the beach last Valentine's Day. The wedding location is where they went to college at Cal Poly, the same school where I met my husband 33 years ago. We are all looking forward to this mini- destination wedding (4 hours away) where we all share such wonderful memories.
Hiya date twins. I'm getting married on 7/24 too. We live in Phoenix, but will be having our wedding at a vineyard in Sonoma County, CA. So far we have booked the venue, musicians, photographer, and have a short list for the caterer. I bought my dress and selected the color & designer for the bridesmaid dresses (the BMs will get to select their own dresses). I'm now starting on my search for a florist. My FI is making our save the dates and our website. I hope to send them out by the end of the month.
I'm a July 24, 2010 Bride too! Congratulations to all of you just over 250 days left to go. I'll be getting married Outdoors in Michigan, and the reception will be held under a tent. I"m getting more and more excited about it everday. I can't wait!

I'm getting married on July 24th too!! Ours will be in NE Ohio, on the lake. I can't believe it's almost 7 months away!! Congrats, fellow date twins!

We're getting married July 24th as well! I can't wait... I'm so excited! We'll be getting married in Southern California at an Art Museum. Plans are going well, but it's hard planning a wedding from so far away. Thankfully I have a great support system here and in California.

We too are getting married on July 24th. Our 10th anniversary is on the 25th so since it is a Sunday, we chose to get married on the 24th. It will def be here before we know it but since I have had 10 years to collect ideas I mostly have just about everything figured out. Congrats ladies!

i just came across this site when i was googling july 24, 2010 and thought id pass on a cool oppurtunity to be apart of a documentary by ridley scott i found earlier today....haha!! You can google him yourself...but on youtube he said if anyone was getting married today that he would love to have video footage to add in his documentary that will be played at the sundance festival in 2011. It's called "life in a day" documentary, you can search it on youtube or google it if you are interested... I assure you i am not spam, i'm just passing along info...:) smiles and Congrats!!!
