i thought these were really neat and you can put their names on them - what guy doesnt need poker chips? haha
or some cooler chairs with their initials?
Mine is giving his guys Leatherman multi-tools. FI refused beer mugs and other stuff like that because he has a ton of non-matching personalized flasks and beer mugs from his times as a groomsman and said no one needs another. He hopes the guys will at least find these useful instead of putting them in a cabinet somewhere and forgetting they exist!
My hubs got his GMs Coach wallets (from the outlet) It was a huge hit because they were basic and they could actually use them!
@misspeanut: Not that our gifts have to be completely unique, but I agree with the personalized beer mugs.
All our groomsmen have some sort of geeky interest or movie they love, so we got them all cufflinks based on that. We'll probably also be getting them each a small bottle of their favourite liquor.

Get something that fits their individual interests and hobbies. Are they into sports, camping, grilling, movies/music, etc?
Still deciding... but this is my inspiration:

I'm getting hi-wall boxes and crinkle cut paper and putting a nice slim wallet, a mini guy's emergency tin from here:
Possibly a small bottle of alcohol, and maybe a tie (that they would wear on the wedding day).
I also thought it would be cute to do shave kits- like a real boars brush and shave soap:

Themed cufflinks for the guys, they were really well received
BM/BIL going into culinary school- Skull with Chef Hat
GM Programmer- Flash Drive (he put Ubuntu on it)
GM Vet/Lewis Fan- Lion Head
Officiant from Tennessee- "Power T"
DJ- Record Player
DH- TARDIS
BUMP
My thread on bridesmaid gifts has given me so many ideas so I want to keep this going too! Thanks, Bees!
My fiance picked these out for his groomsmen...actually I'm kind of jealous...I have to step up my game with my bridesmaid's gifts now!!

I really like them cuff links, I might actually get that fom my FI for a christmas present. Some ideas my FI is: A mug, a flask, a knife thing, cuff links, a shaving kit, and a couple other little things. Maybe try getting them tools or something they are interested in (hockey, fishing, baseball, etc)
We got our gms personalized chucks from the converse website. We subtly made it our wedding colors since you can customize every inch of the shoe.
He ordered gym bags/ travel bags with their names on them. Very high quality and estically pleasing for a man.
My fiance and I decided that we wanted our groomsmen to wear the old school Nike Cortez sneaks... so he bought them each a pair... they'll wear them with their tuxes on the wedding day... then wherever they want after that :)

Bumping this because it's time to start thinking about this again. Thanks Bees!!
I've posted this several times before, but I'm making these

In packages with some local beer (4/5 of our groomsmen are coming OOT) & thank you cards. We decided to put the money we would have spent on nicer gifts towards buying food for the weekend (since they already paid for plane tickets, we found lodging for them) & a round of golf or paintball. We thought they'd appreciate having a stress free weekend (i.e. not having to expend more money when they already bought expensive plane tickets) than knick knacks.
We're also giving them ties, but they'll be wearing those in the wedding, so not really a gift.
We're trying to figure that out now, too. FI is thinking of paying for golf the day before the wedding, getting them some of their favorite alcohol, etc. He's really unsure!
We should keep this going because I too am at a loss of ideas. I got so many nice things for my BM but drawing a blank for GM. We are leaning towards leathermans for now but wanted to know if there is something else.
FI is taking 2 of his guys out for dinner and a basketball game. For the other one he bought him a limited edition version of Axis and Allies he was trying to get his hands on, and a really cool Indiana Jones poster.
We are doing leather belts from the Florence leather markets with personalized belt buckles like this (we wanted to give both the groomsmen and bridesmaids something from Italy as that is where we are getting married):
@MissTaken I really like your box idea, with a bottle of alcohol (each one's favourite) and some other treats. Perhaps we will use this as part of the package as well!
We bought our guys tickets to the Red Sox game the night before the wedding (facevalue ~ 37/ticket). We're also giving them ties and socks for the wedding and cigars. Our best man is also getting a custom leather wallet from brookstone with his initials on it.

I've been having some fun with planning my bridesmaid gifts (recently posted a question that didn't go very far, but that's okay because I think I'm a good)! However, I'd also like to start thinking about groomsmen gifts. When I mentioned it to my fiance he appeared to have no idea where to start, so I think it would be good to give him some ideas. Most of his groomsmen don't smoke in any way, shape or form so we won't be gifting cigars. We are also looking to stay away from flasks. Any other ideas? Photos welcome!
