beachybridemrsd2bee :  Not everyone introduces grandparents, but I had my grandmother introduced with her boyfriend as her escort. “The grandmother of the brideJane Smith escorted by Joe Jones” kinda deal.

Introduce your mother as “The mother of the bride, Jane Smith” if you would like someone to escort her, you can. Maybe ask her how she feels about it.

beachybridemrsd2bee :  just doing bridal party introductions, and skipping parents altogether. (We have no living grandparents, and both of FIs parents are passed. Plus, we are hosting the wedding ourselves, So just sticking with bridesmaids, and groomsmen, and us).

I’ve never seen anyone other than the wedding party or just the bride and groom introduced.

No one was introduced but my husband and I.  We acknowledged our parents during our thank you speech and I acknowledged my grandmother because it would have been her anniversary.

Does your mom go by Mrs. dad’s first name and then last name?  If I was going to introduce my mom and did it like that she would have been confused or upset that I bothered to introduce but didn’t actually tell people her name.

I just had DH and me introduced…skipped all the other stuff. Short and sweet!
