I was just wondering if many of you have psoriasis? I’ve had scalp psoriasis since about age 5 and had it mostly everywhere else on my body since age 12 (ten years) . Unfortunately its started up really bad on my face (mostly forehead) since last year as well which sucks!
Does anyone else have fairly moderate to severe psoriasis and if so, how are you covering it up on your wedding day? Or keeping it under control? I always dread that I won’t be able to wear a pretty dress because of it 🙁
Would love some feedback for bees going through the same thing!

Mine is pretty mild. I was lucky and surprised that I had few spots on my wedding day. Mine does tend to be worse in the winter though. I made sure to keep up with my medications, and I was also using coconut oil. I was planning on putting a small amount of concealer on my elbows if it had flared up there, as it gets really red, but I didn’t need it!

@SLfairytale: I too have scalp psoriasis that creeps onto my ears and forehead. Sometimes around my nose. Not a popular or terribly healthy move, but I caved and went to the stand up tanning booth prior to my wedding. In times of flares, I do this sometimes twice to 3x a week and the uv kills it off.
Avoiding dairy, a lot of wheat, also seems to help me. As well as supplements of fish oil capsules, and flax, olive oils consumed daily, about a tablespoon each, floated atop a small glass of warm water I just shoot it. Half an avocado a day too. This is a hardcore regimine for me in winter months; summer I can usually slack a little bit.
Daily exfoliation with those scrubby bathing gloves helps too.
Justa couple tips to try. Hope you find something that works!!!

I can’t believe there aren’t more bees with this problem! :/ Anyone with eczema or anything?
I think I may end up being limited to wearing a boat/ bateau neck dress to hide it – which I’m used to doing in my normal life so now I think it’s my style! Haha
