I don't know how to display these. Should we have them on each table? Or near the cake table like a dessert? I do not want to do them as favors because I already bought the favor boxes and they will not fit.

How are you displaying or passing out your Mexican wedding cookies?

I'm also trying to figure out how to wrap the cookies. ...maybe small boxes or a small piece of tulle tied with a ribbon

Here are some ideas i found that I think are cool.

I'm going to include them in the candy bar! My FI is Texan/American-Mexican, and I think it would be great to give these out. I'm American-Cuban, so I'm also giving out "merenguitos." I'm excited about this!

We got married last weekend and put the cookies on the buffet table on a glass cake platter.

I love the jar idea. I hadn't thought about letting them be my favors. It was a given that I was going to have them on the tables and do other favors but this way I kill two birds with one stone!

    Jars are so cute!

We actualy put them into brown little bags & although they didn't feel/ look greasy, they left wet spots on the brown bags :(

    AnneiAAA they lookl really cute!

I was worried that they would do that and leave manteca marks everywhere. I was thinking of not having them at all but maybe they'll work in cellophane bags?

I think they would work in cello bags or a frosted tin tie bag. http://www.weddingfavorsnow.com/small3x2x6clearfrosttintiesacks25pack.aspx

I am actually putting them at each place setting in a 2X2X2 inch clear box and then tie it with a ribbon

    Something like this:

I am making them small enough to fit 3 cookies/box

I think they look best on a cake stand or platter, stacked up like the picture above....but I'm putting mine into little favor bags that look like gift bags with gift tissue and a little bow with a thank-you tag.  I'm just gonna stick them in there all wrapped in saran wrap :o)
