my reception hall offers those very simple 10 inch holders, that have the simple paper clip like thing on the top to slide the card into.
I think we may just do tent cards on the table however, ours are going to be rather big - about 5x7. They will each have a different engagement photo of us, and be named after a city that is important to us in some way, with a little blurb as to why underneath it.
Vintage/art nouveau looking picture frames I picked up at discount stores. Used swirly font (can't remember which one) printed on card stock. Looked great and were soooo easy.

Another detail I haven't quite thought out yet, but I just wanted to see what everyone is doing regarding their table number/name cards. Obviously, they should be noticeable to the guests and possibly the servers, but I personally don't want them to stand out too much or overwhelm the centerpieces.
Are you elevating them in some way? Using a picture frame? Tent cards? Blending it into your centerpiece arrangement, or not? How big are you making them?
