@littleblackcat: Can't wait to see replies/pics...I want my hair down ( I hate updos ) but I don't know how to "dress it up" while keeping it down. Maybe I'll keep it partly up like a low, loose bun for the ceremony and then completely down with curls for the reception?? I dunno yet...
I'd like it down but with some put up and the rest to be curly by using big rollers. I'm having a cathedral veil. Unsure of anything else at the moment.
I'm wearing mine down in loose curls (not just waves, though, definite CURLS), with maybe the strands closet to my face pinned back. Otherwise it will be completely loose, bohemian & down (I almost NEVER wear my hair down -- it's ALWAYS in a ponytail!).
I wore my hair up and was happy because it was SO hot!

Here are some inspiration pictures for you...

I just did my hair trial today.
The link has how it looked fresh, and how it looked 6 hrs later. My hair is so thick, it never holds curl.....
I haven't completely decided yet. My trials aren't until February or March of next year, but here are my inspiration photos. My first choice it the Updo with the pearl accents, but the other ones might work better for my hair. Right now, my hair is almost to my waist.

Hello! I am new, and I'm a couple of weeks shy of a year until my wedding, but I'm already scouting things to do to my hair. I have long, thick, semi-wavy hair and I am not attracted to the veil look. I like the look of a braid or possibly sculpted curls like Veronica Lake or Rita Hayworth...
So, brides to be, what is everyone doing to their hair? Hair jewelry? Veils? Up? Down? Chignon? Short?
