Let’s share how you’ve been trying to lose weight and if it is working.
I tried blue Print cleanse- for 1 day. I could not drink it because the taste.
Bikram Yoga: Did it for 2 months, 2-3X a week, but fell off the wagon. I lost about 5 pounds but gained it back shortly after stopping and it made my skin reallly dry and hair dry.
With 6 Weeks to Go:
I’m cutting out most carbs, limiting sweets and liquor, reducing meal size. Doing bikram yoga, and trying to excercise as much as possible.
I lost about 3 pounds in 2 weeks. Hopefully I can keep this up and lose another 5 lbs. I think cutting portion size and sweets has been the most effective.
I also considered medifast but I heard it tastes really bad, and its for people who want to lose 30+ pounds. anyone else try it?

eating healthy, walking a lot and hot yoga…..ill let you know how that all works for me in a month! 😀

Vinyasa yoga? What is the temperature of the room? I’m looking to do something a little cooler than bikram. Also do they carpet the studio/ does it smell ?

I have about 8 months to go. I am being lazy about it right now, and just using the nodiet.com stuff. It seems to be working. My clothes are fitting better and I have more energy. Once the heat index drops below 100, Fiance and I will start jogging again. I have had great success with jogging and cutting carbs. I will probably try to drop 3-4 dress sizes by April.

The best/healthiest weight I ever got down to was by jogging 2x a week for 20 minutes and doing weight training w/some cardio 3x a week (it was an hour long body sculpting class). I lost 15-20 lbs, but got sooo toned – so I’m sure I lost fat and gained muscle. I really need to start on that since I’m down to the wire here. Ugh.

I’m getting down to the wire too! Ugh! I’ve been juicing twice a day and eating non processed, high protien, low carb food in the mean time. Also no drinking and no sugar! I do have non fat, sugar free frozen yogurt once a week =) Anyways, I’ve lost 11 pounds in two weeks and am pretty happy with myself. Also – walking three-five times a week, and weight training in the mean time. I want awesome arms! Either way though, I will feel beautiful on my day. That’s the most important thing.

KETTLEBELLS! I started cutting calories 40 days ago and lost about 3lbs up until the point I started Kettlebells (starting my 2nd week this monring!) and I have lost 7lbs in the last 2 weeks. Plus I am losing inches and feel like I am toning.
I love it! Although I wouldnt start it too close to your wedding because I do have bruises on my wrists and upper arms!

weight watchers. i’ve lost about 12.5 pounds so far and it’s been good. just takes some getting used to how many points everything is and tracking every bite of food. am planning to do this until my wedding and hitting the gym hard starting in january.

I have been doing Jenny Craig. Lost almost 60 pounds this past year. Looking to lose more so I just signed up with a personal trainer for 8 weeks to boost something! Its been a rough summer!

I started Weight Watchers in March and I’ve lost 40 pounds! I highly recommend it. It’s a very practical diet you can live with, it’s actually more like changing your lifestyle. I like it better than any other diet I have tried because I find it less stressful to only track points (not calories, carbs, ect) and I can still eat like a normal person (I still go to “burger monday” which is a weekly tradition with my friends). I’ve learned a lot and I really feel like this is something I can sustain.
My Fiance lost 55lbs on weight watchers, seriously it’s awesome!
I don’t even pay for the meetings or online tools. I just paid one payment of $5.00 for an app for android that I use to track my points and such.
Next I want to hire a personal trainer and gain some muscle for my wedding day. 🙂

im hoping to loose a fair bit.. in Australia we use the metric system so not sure how many pounds but probably like to try for 20 kilos. have already lost 7kg just eating healthy.. am going to get back into jogging and do some pilates! hopefully will be able to stay motivated.. its cold here at the moment.. so its hard to get up in the mornings.. oh yeah and im a bit lazy too!

I started south beach diet with Fiance and in the first 2 weeks he lost 20 lbs and I lost 8 (not fair!!). That is completely WITHOUT working out!!! Other than chasing my toddler I am hoping to finally get off my butt and get exercising, and hopefully it will keep wotking!!!

I lost about 15 pounds before I got engaged by eating healthy. I make sure that I get protein every meal, make sure I eat only healthy fats, no sugar or any other white carbs, and smaller portions. Now that I got engaged, I have added in jogging 20-30 minutes at least 5 times a week. Once I started jogging, it took a while for me to start dropping weight, but now that my body has adjusted, I am lossing 1-2 pounds a week. I am the type of a person that has to make small changes at a time, so once I get used to running I will add in some sort of toning. I am thinking p90x right now, but I am not sure.

I’m on my 6th day of this 21 day cleanse. It’s mostly normal food so far but gets increasingly difficult each week. All natural foods, no carbs etc. So far I’ve lost 7 pounds though although I think so of that is attributable to the fact that I ate and drank a lot the weekend before (it was my birthday weeked!) so my weight was on the high end at the beginning.

I’ve lost 10 lbs. in 2 weeks without calorie counting.
