Our refrigerator died this week and we had to buy a new one- so part of the refund will go to that! The rest will go to savings.

We are putting most of ours into savings.  We will probably use some to buy another convertible car seat for DH’s car (already have one in mine) since DD is about to exceed the weight capacity for the infant carrier we are still using in DH’s car.

@MammaPants:  im curious… when did you file and get accepted? I have a dd date of 2-10 and SBBT has already recieved my refund and taken the fees out and sent a DD to my bank. I called my bank and they dont see it even pending yet 🙁

In answer to your question I am using it to pay off my son’s catholic school tuition, add to my savings (which is much lower right now than I would like) and to buy new mattresses lol that’s my treat to myself.

I usually use my state return to buy a plane ticket to Vegas and save the federal but I can’t go this year.  Bummed.

I’ll just save my federal return and spend my state return on baby stuff since it’s only $200-$300.

I got my state and federal back yesterday. I’m putting aside some for when I decide to upgrade my cell phone and the rest is going to savings or to pay some stuff off quicker.

@MammaPants:  I haven’t gotten mine yet (FI has to wait for the state to finalize the documents before he can file them), but I intend on putting every penny directly into savings. Most of it will be used to pay my car insurance in a month or two (I pay for 6 months at a time) and the rest will go towards bulking up my savings. Not really glamorous or exciting, but I want to get my account up to at least 10K (little less than 2K to go) and this will help a bit.
