I have short hair and I could not find a single hairstyle that I thought looked good....UNTIL a fellow Bee posted these on another board poll for short hair! I will be wearing my hair this way:

Minus the flower and the jeweled hair pins....I will actually be wearing a metal headband with two fall leaves on it with a white pearl in the middle!
I always thought I'd wear my hair up but I hated how my hair trial came out and when I did my first fitting I felt way too bare up top with my hair up (I'm a 32D and it's a strapless sweetheart dress so I worry about looking too busty). I've decided instead to do an Old Hollywood look with a deep side part and waves. Here's my inspiration pic:

I'm guessing half up/half down - I'm growing out a short bob (since last summer for next summer) with the hope that it will look long and gorgeous. And I'm definitely going to put my hair and make-up in the hands of professionals as there's no chance of me making a hairstyle last all day!
@d_mari3: That hairstyle is gorgeous! Your headband sounds really cute too.
I really want to try to have a Grace Kelly hairstyle. I'm nervous about trying to pull it off though. My hair has a mind of its own!
I'm undecided. My hair is on the short side right now, but I might want to wear it up if it grows enough in a few months. One thing I know for certain is that I will do it myself. I have never found a stylist who knows what to do with naturally curly hair.
So I wanted something really romantic, that would show off my length but wouldn't stick to my neck or back since my wedding and reception are outdoors. I like the look of soft curls and it holds better in humidity than stick straight hair. I decided on a side pony with a twist! I'm gonna have her do a french braid that goes diagonally to one side and over the shoulder in soft curls. I'm also going to have some loose pieces to frame the face and a few flowers tucked at the side. Soft, feminine, moves with me but holds its shape, looks done without being too stiff! Perfect for me!

i will probably end up posting it closer to my wedding date..like around april or so lol..i have not decide on hair make up veil shoes jewelry so far..i will post them all once my mind is set for it...:))

Just did a test run of my hair today.. did all all up with loose curls. The back looked great.. felt I needed a few pieces around my face though but was worried how the pieces would hold up through out the day with an August wedding in the south. So for all you summer brides how did/are you wearing your hair on the big day?
