I have seen so many brides with veils worn on the back of their heads or even under their buns (at the back of their necks)..what im wondering if any of you bees have worn your veil high…think 1960’s style. I don’t know, but whenever i have tried them on I automatially place it high. Is this going to look silly? I don’t have a picture of my veil yet…i just ordered it yesterday. but its a cathedral length HEAVILY beaded veil to be worn with blue by enzoani delaware. (veil is ds bridal #734)
please add a pic of how you wore or plan to wear your veil.

When trying on dresses, my consultant put the test veil on me way up high. I hated it. I had a low, loose up-do and ended up wearing the veil just on top of all the curls.
I’m trying to add a pic but my computer is not cooperating with me…

I love the veil up high. I like it there, because it curls around my shoulders and is more visible fro the front. Wear it how you like it. 🙂

I personally do not like them to be high, I will be wearing my hair half up and half down and will be putting it where my hair gathers in the back like
dgb2010 did…here is a picture she posted…
For those wearing hair half up half down….

@MrsLulu: See that’s another personal preference. I didn’t want it to touch my shoulders. I’d be fidgiting with it the whole time, trying to push it back!

I always didn’t like the look of veil placed under the bun (low)… It looks TO ME like a toilet paper hanging from your hair.
I will be doing half up do or down do and placing my double tier fingertip veil on top of my head. The veil will be touching my shoulder. Sorry I don’t have pics…
I always LOVED the look of drop veils or mantillas. Those types of veils are secured on top of the veil so even though I have a double tier veil, I will be achieving a classical bridal look.

oops sorry, I think mine will be more like Back Top of the head… or Top Back of the head…

I’ve never liked the look of the veil under the bun, or “brainstem veil” as I like to call it.
I’m wearing a mantilla high on the head so that it falls around the shoulders.
