We sent out 91 seats (a little more than we wanted to, but FMIL and my mom had given some people the impression they were getting invitations, so we sent out a few extra).
Sent: 91 Seats (everyone is allowed a +1)
Accepted: 32
Declined: 11
Maybe (yes, we actually received a maybe): 2
Outstanding: 48
I wish people would hurry up! There are people on the list who we know aren't coming but we haven't received their response yet.. so we can't just assume they aren't.
I totally understand! I sent out 100 rsvp cards and only received back about 30 (including declined ones as well) and they were due back on 3 days ago.
I'm frustrated because I know a lot of people are coming but they just haven't rsvp yet.
And I didn't get a "maybe" but I did get one that said Number of persons: "4-6" I was like WHAT? I sent the invite out to 2 friends (who are sisters so the invite was for the both of them and addressed as so) but I have no idea where they came up with 4-6. I'm thinking maybe their parents are coming as well which would show the "4" but I have no idea where the other 2 people are coming from
It doesn't bother me too bad.....except the fact that I need to KNOW how many people AND that I don't know who the other people are that they rsvp for...??? frustrating. I'd at least like to know the people that show up for my wedding....
The RSVP thing is so annoying! We sent out about 105 cards - I have about 35 back so far. As of now, only 2 people from our 9 person wedding party has RSVPed! My FML hasn't either. I know all of these people are coming, but I'd like the cards back to confirm it. Let's get cracking people! ;-)
We are waiting for wedding party RSVPs too!
One doesn't know if her fiance wants to come (because he says he'll be bored while she's getting ready with me the morning of).
One said he is working on getting a date so he hasn't sent his back.
One said he hopes he can make it (huh?).
One aunt (who always is woe-is-me) posted on Facebook about how she hasn't received her invitation yet and her sister had.... her sister lives in the US (local, one-day delivery) and she lives in Canada! That was three weeks ago, she's definitely gotten it by now, but hasn't bothered to RSVP yet.
I have a feeling I will be making quite a bit of phone calls. :(
Ugh - I thought they would come in quickly but its sooooo slow!
We invited - 77
Accepted - 13
Declined - 8
Waiting - 56 - Including ALL the wedding party!!!!!
Mine have only been out (received by guests) for about a week or so... but still. A lot of those people KNOW they are coming!
That's what frustrates me - you know you're coming, so just check it off and drop it in the mail. I provided a stamp for you and everything!
Sent the invitations out almost two weeks ago. Invited 15 "households" 40 people for YES, 7 NO, and the rest are outstanding. However, most of our guests live at least several states away, so we anticipated it would take longer. Our RSVP date is July 14th.
We just sent ours out last Thursday and I got the first three back today already. I hope they keep coming in fast. :)
we sent ours out early and wanted them back early so we could plan it all peacefully and aheead of time. Unfortunately this has caused 2 people to RSVP as 80% yes (what do I do with that?) and 4 to flat out say it is too soon for them to decide.
sigh.
We sent the invites last Monday and have only gotten two cards back so far.
We sent ours out last Wednesday. Sent 250 invites out, so far 16 of them have come back. Have been getting at least a few in the mail each day. Only 1 person from the wedding party has RSVP'd so far, and neither of our parents have yet. Kind of surprised by that. I mean, really? :)
Our RSVP deadline is 7.14.
Spoke to FMIL today about the RSVP's, and she actually said "Oh, you want me to mail it back to you? But you know I'm coming." Grrrr!! Of course I want you AND each and every invited guest to mail it back to me because I took the time to number the RSVP cards, stuff the invitations, put postage on the outer envelope AND return postage on the RSVP. OMG.
Here's where I'm at so far.
Invited: 146 people
Accepted: 56
Declined: 4 (one couple and 2 people who decided not to bring a date)
Outstanding: 86
My RSVP deadline is July 14th. When do you guys think most of the no responses will come in? Early or late?
Sent mine yesterday! Brought cookies to the postal workers so they would hand stamp them.. they were super happy, and it worked :) Can't wait to start getting response cards!
We are getting a couple every day. We sent them last week and already have about 10 back and only 1 decline. :)
eeeek! You ladies are on the ball - I have not even sent out my invites yet! :(
The printer just e mailed me and said everything is ready, so we'll have an invitation marathon this weekend...sigh....generally I'm pretty good about getting things out early, but the invites got the better of me!
Invited: 224
Accepted: 152
Declines: 18
Not responded: 54
We are having a destination wedding so sent ours out in May and the RSVP date is this Sunday June 27th. It is fustrating when people know they are or are not coming and wait till the last minute to send in their response.
Some of our guests requested to be allowed to keep their RSVP cards as to keep the inserts of the pocketfold invitations compleet. Which is a compliment to me as I DIY all of the pocketfolds from scratch myself /smiles but tis a little disappointing to not recieve any back in the mail yet! And it just made me think: I best note down those who asked to keep their rsvps.. and mark them as coming hah.
We invited 150 people.
Total RSVPs = 29 (24 yes, 5 no) - that puts us at about 51 guests as of now.
Total guests not responded = 99.
We sent out our invites in mid-June and the wedding is 8/20/10. The RSVP date is August 1st. Hopefully we'll get more soon!
RSVP date: August 7

They've been coming in very steadily, which is nice!
RSVP date is today...so there better be a influx of envelopes in my mailbox today!
Currently we're at 112 adults and 20 kids (10& under).
I told Fi we'll be right around 150...
Sent: 91 Seats

They're due this Saturday! I am thinking our final total will be ~54, but with 15 outstanding, you just don't know!
Our deadline was yesterday. Out of 157 people invited, we only have 92 in.
So far...
75 attending
17 not attending
Back to waiting by the mailbox for the rest! [I'll start calling people on Monday]
can I just say people suck lol I don't have official numbers all I know is that according to the RSVP's we have 85 people coming so far. I HATE all the FB messages and e-mails and texts from people saying " I havn't sent in my rsvp yet but put me down for two!" just mail back the dam thing!
We just sent ours out last week, with an RSVP date by July 21, but I'm suprised by how many we got so far ,especially considering the holiday weekend.
Invited: 266
Yes: 33
No: 1
Still quite a few out, obviously, but excited to get replies so quickly.
We are 2 days from RSVP deadline.
178 Guests Invited
80 RSVPed ( 62 Yes, 18 No )
Just wait ladies...they're coming.
Sent = 130

No= appx 12-15.
Deadline: July 14.
Wedding: July 24.
We're WAY over! I'm freaking out! We expected about 160. TOPS!
Now, we need more cupcakes, more chair covers, more plated dinners, more liquor ...MORE EVERYTHING!
We'd already taken it down to bare bones....no favors, no programs, simple chair covers, simple dinner, cupcakes instead of cake.
Now, in order to cover an additional 50+ ppl, I've cut into my hair/mani/pedi budget, down sized my BM gifts, and nixed elaborate Welcome kits for Out-of-towners.
I'm getting pretty distraught. We're paying for this thing ourselves. Perhaps its my pride, but I refuse to ask my Dad (long story). My Grandma offered to help MONTHS ago and I decclined the offer (we had it under control THEN).
I'm at my wits end. my FH says NOT to worry about it. We'll just eat PB and J for teh next three weeks...BUt....I just don't know...
235 people were sent invitations the week of 6/14
79 yes (as of today)
2 no (as of today)
Response Request by 7/30
Phone calls are inevitable!
173 invited
Yes: 64
No: 15
Havent responded: 94
and they have until the 19th to respond.
I'm starting to get a little antsy...
Invited: 100 seats
Yes: 16
No: 1
Outstanding: 76
We asked that RSVPs be submitted by July 14th, which is 3 days from now!
----------
You might wonder why it's 76 outstanding and not 83... well, I have yet to send out four invitations. I am WAY overdue!!! They're all in the wedding party so it's more for fun than anything, but it's still not good. I lost my wax seal stamp, so I've been stalling on getting the final batch out. :O
we invited 352 (194 invites)
yes: 140 - not all have sent in RSVPs but we're including them anyway (bridal party, immediate family)
no: 64
with about 144 unknown (79 RSVPs)
deadline is wednesday! at this point, i don't even care anymore - i just want to know the numbers so we can tie up loose ends and be done with it all.
204 invited
134 attending
32 declined
38 outstanding
RSVP date: July 10th
Mostly friends MIA so the calls will begin Tuesday. This should be fun...
My RSVPs are due tomorrow and I still have 34 responses outstanding. I was assuming I would have people that I would have to call but I'm surprised that some of the outstanding ones are my fiance's close relatives like aunts and cousins! It's frustrating ... from now on if I am ever invited to anything, I am sending my response in right away!
RSVPs were due on Saturday:
Sent: 91 Seats
Accepted: 50
Declined: 24 (some of these were +1s)
Outstanding: 17
How on earth do we have 17 outstanding? So annoying! I believe only 4 of those 17 are coming, but it's still frustrating. I decided I'm not going to contact anyone except the 4 we think will be Yes's.
@MeMe2010: All of our outstanding except 2 seats are from Fiance's side! The 2 seats on mine, the friend sent me a message on facebook saying she's trying to get the date off work but doesn't know yet. I told her to let me know in a week or two. We have 3 aunts/uncles, two family friends, and two groomsmen on Fiance's side that haven't replied! One groomsmen said he doesn't know if he can come at all, huh?
I guess we're lucky. We've gotten pretty much all of them back. The Excel sheet is at home, but it's about 60 people out of the 100 or so we invited. Pretty good I think.
Is this insane? Our RSVPs went out like two weeks ago and we've gotten half back (66 people), with 100% of them coming. Do the NOs usually wait until the end to send theirs back?
