@MsGinkgo:  Our tables were 60″ rounds that seated 8 people. We did two alternated between tall centerpieces and three bud vases. All of the tables had navy blue table runners, pearl garland, and three candles.

Any questions let me know!

@MsGinkgo:  The easiest way to visualize the actual size is to go to a linen rental place. They most likely already have a 60″ table set up with place settings and sample centerpieces. Take a tape measure with you to measure the open space in the middle of the table and the width of the centerpieces.

Then look online to see what stye of centerpieces you like the best. Check out http://www.weddinggawker.com- search for centerpieces.

@MsGinkgo:  Another way to visualize the size is to cut a 60″ diameter circle of newspaper, then set it up with your complete place settings. The space left in the middle is what you have to work with.

Here are ours. We had a 10″ diameter circle mirror with a 10″ tall vase in the center, then 4 photo frames around that with a votive in between each frame. We didn’t want the centerpieces to be too tall, so people could still talk across the table.
