@subola:  Not sure how to get the wrinkles out…but I read somewhere that rolling them will prevent any new wrinkles.  But then I’m not sure if they will stay slightly rolled..hm.

I wonder if you could toss them in the dryer with a wet towel, the towel will create steam & get the wrinkles out.. I don’t think it would hurt them, since you aren’t getting them wet.. or you could use a handheld steamer.

@subola:  Mine were wrinkled when they come in as well. I ironed over them but on a very low setting with a thin towel over them and was able to get the wrinkles out then I just laid them out flat to keep the wrinkles out.

I had a small DW so I only had 25 sashes to do…..maybe you can recruit your BMs or mom to help out!

I have a huge garment steamer and it is wonderful, so much better than ironing!

I would be a little afraid to iron, depending on the type of fabric, might melt a bit. But a steamer is safe for more delicate fabrics.

@subola:  Yes, I just got one as a gift at my shower. We used it on my MOH’s dress. It wasn’t as good as a professional job at a steamstress, but it was good enough for me! It definitely made a noticeable difference. And the one I have is very easy to use!

I would iron them but put a small hand towel on top in same color as the sash and iron the towel.
