- Wedding: March 2011
I have three nephews and a niece. They mean a lot to me and I want them to have some part in the wedding. I have had several people suggest things I am just not sure. I feel like there is a really great option out there that I am not thinking of, perhaps one of you fine ladies (or gentlemen) have an idea we haven’t thought f yet. Their ages will be 13(b), 12(g), 8 (b), and 6(b)
Mom suggested that we have then walk down the isle in a little cluster tossing flowers. Fiance and I have stated to each other that we would both prefer not to have a flower girl or ring bearer. I know that reduces our options but I am willing to change my mind if it is the only option. My sister suggested having the yougest ring a bell saying the bride is coming and the two older boys ushers and she was unsure for my niece. The youngest one would have no problem doing this and I think it would be funny just because he has such an outgoing personality and is a ham. Fi thinks its a bad idea because he see him as hyper (hasn’t been around children much and thinks he was the perfect child, my nephew isn’t hyper he’s just a boy) and said he thought it’d be too much. The two older boys would be great at ushering people. My niece however is really shy (example she couldn’t go trick or treating without crying for years) she has come a long way but I don’t know how I feel having her be an usher and I just think of boys when I hear ushers. So I thought I’d make her a bridesmaid which makes it uneven. I have a lot of options already but like I said I feel like there is something out there.
