I know the ring is at my bf’s parents house and I know he has pictures of it on his phone (and he sent it to my best friend!) How can I stop myself from snooping!! I want to be suprised when i see it, but at the same time, I’m DYING!!

Distract yourself! It will be better if it’s a surprise and you’ll only drive yourself mad looking for it and wondering when he’s planning on proposing. Find a new hobby, hang out more with friends and remind yourself when you feel like looking to just let it be!

Good luck… haha. I’m a notorious snooper.

I was in your exact same position, but I snooped. If there is one thing I regret, it is the snooping. While getting engaged was one of the most beautiful and special times in my and FI’s life, it stunk having to pretend that I was totally “surprised.”
(Everyone asked me if I knew anything ahead of time! I guess friends and family know about my history of being surprised!)
I know it’s hard but please do your best to stay away from the pictures! That baby will be on your finger before you know it and you will be able to stare at it all day long!
Just trust me on this one! Don’t peek!
With all that said, I can’t wait to hear about your proposal and ring! I’m sure it will be beautiful!

Haha thanks for all the encouragement! My best friend and I are going t Vegas this weekend and I made her delete the picture from her phone so that we dont get drunk and make her show me!! Haha.
I definitely do want the suprise but its oh so tempting. I’ve been able to quell it by looking at reccently purchased engagement rings on blue nile and trying to guess which one is mine 😉

Haha I’m a bad snooper, too. Boyfriend or Best Friend cleared his browser history, put a new passcode on his phone, and hid the ring at his parents’ house. This was all to make sure I didn’t find out.
