So, I am in love with the song from those Holiday Inn commercials … “You Always Make Me Smile” (I think it’s by Kyle Andrews). Here’s the YouTube link:
I want to use it for something! Could it be our cake cutting song maybe? Any other ideas? Thanks! 🙂

FYI, Celestial Event is a Wedding Host DJ business in the boonies of the CO Rockies. I don’t think you are planning a Mountain destination and we are already booked on Aug 21st so this is just some professional advice. And thank you for pointing this song out, it has great possibilities.
It’s not a good tune too dance to but it could be perfect for your Grand Entrance with the two of you skipping into the ballroom hand in hand and sharing a long kiss before taking your seats at your head table. The bridal party could come in to another tune or you could ask them to skip into the ballroom as well. This depends on how large your bridal party is. Using the song just for the B&G might not give enough time for the song to play out.
This would be an excellent tune for a music video slide show with pics of the two of you together over the months/years leading up to your wedding day.
I sometimes tell the story of the B&G from how they met to their first date right up to the proposal. This would be a fun tune to play immediately after that story.
In all cases, except the video, your DJ might have to slowly fade the song after the associated activity is over as It could get annoying to some guests with nothing else going on.
You will need to work with you DJ on this but let us know what you decide.
