So I found out that for our ceremony all the music equipment is going to be on the stage & can’t be taken off, only pushed back at best. I dont want all that stuff to clutter up our pics so im trying to figure out how to hide it or should i just scrap using the stage?

oilfieldhoney: i would not use the stage at all. I think it would be too much work to hide it.

oilfieldhoney: Can you just have them turn the chairs around and use the other end of the venue as your altar area?

julies1949: Not exactly bc we are having the reception there too & there is a kitchen area & soundbooth back there. The only way I can think to move the chairs is to have them face one of the walls & have the wedding party enter through the white door.

If you have room in your budget you can rent room dividers to hide it. I saw a tip on a wedding show where they used rice paper screens and put tree branches behind it with lights positioned so that the shadow of the branches on the screen gave the illusion of a forest. That could double as decorations for your ceremony.
