one of my sisters and i both have december birthdays....mine is the 9th and hers is the 30th. but to be honest, with the craziness of the month of december, they feel like they're pretty far apart!
My brother's birthday is about three weeks before mine.
When we were younger, we would collaborate on birthday gifts, he'd ask for the smaller part, I'd ask for the bigger part.
It worked pretty well.
My siblings b-days are 6 months after mine. However... their b-days are only a week apart from each others! They share a family b-day bash every year :)
My sister's birthday is in May...mine is in October. We're also 9 years apart...so we've never ever shared anything!
My sister's birthday is 2 days after mine. My dad still can't keep them straight.
I'm sure someone has done this before, but wouldn't it be interesting to look at frequencies for each day of the year and then all sorts of stuff like sibling births?
I have 6 siblings...1 b-day in Feb, 2 in June, 2 in July, and my oldest sister and I share October. We usually do I big cake per shared b-day then do our own thing for major b-days. For my 35th next year for instance, I will be having a solo bash =)
Mine and my only brother's are both in March!
But luckily mine is at the beginning and his is at the end so we didn't have shared birthdays! Apparently our parents are fertile at certain times of the year eh?
My sister's birthday is 22 days after mine! My brother's is four months after, but he's adopted, so our parents had nothing to do with that one
We're pretty well spaced out. The birthday closest to mine is my older sister (4 years and 11 months older then me). My birthday is Oct 15 and her birthday is Dec 9. my mom's birthday is only 10 days before mine, however, and her sister's birthday (my aunt's) is the day after mine.
My birthday and my brothers' are all spaced out within a month. Mid august for my oldest brother, mine is September 10th and my other brother's is on the 12th.
It's funny, too, because my fiance's birthday is only 2 weeks after mine and then his brothers were born only a year and two days apart.
My brother and I are a minute apart- we're twins, haha, so yeah our birthdays are pretty darn close. I also have a sister that is seven years older and a little sister who is seventeen years younger. Craziness! They are the light of my life (other than FI of course), I love them so much. Brother and I are in December and my sisters are both in the summer, so the spacing is pretty far apart.
thankfully for all of us [we each like to shine on our own] our birthdays are 2 months apart. mine in august, my younger sister in october, then the older sister in december.
My bro's birthday is 13 days before mine.. so when we were younger, my parents used to throw us a combined birthday party. And once we were old enough to have sleepovers, I had to share a birthday party with my best friend, who's birthday was only 6 days before mine! I think my 16th birthday was the first one where I got to celebrate all by myself :)
My brother and I are exactly one year and 12 days apart. It could have been worst, I was two weeks late! Yup, now that I think about it, we certainly had our share of joint birthdays.
My sister's birthday is in June and mine is in December. We're pretty evenly spread apart!
You know, I left this thread, and the next day I remembered that my brother's birthday is ~two weeks before mine... BF's is three.
Oops.
November (oldest bro, 45), December (me, 33), January (2nd oldest, 42), and February (last bro, 34).
We have lots of December birthdays in our family: 2, 3, 8, 14,17 (two people), 25, 26, and the 31st. Basically, one a week!
Sept. (my dad and MIL), Nov (my brother), Dec (my sis, sis-in-law, bro-in-law and niece), Jan (me!), Feb (my mom and FIL), July (Hubbs!)
So pretty we're pretty much poor all of December. :)
Well, since I'm a twin my sister and I both have our birthday on Feb. 20th. haha. My 2 year old brother was born Aug. 31st and my 3 Month old sister Aug. 30th. = )
We have all our birthdays in the summer - starting with me on July 1st, my brother on July 27th and my sister on August 2nd and they both managed to marry people who also keep all our birthdays between July 1 and August 16th. FI is October so he'll be the only Fall baby in our family. :o)
Mine is Feb 23, my oldest brother is March 6. So... like 2 weeks apart. My other brother is June 1.
That's really cute, Bamboo!
My brother and I have the exact same birthday. He's two years older and my only sibling. We always had shared birthday parties, too!
ONE MINUTE!!! My brother and I are twins (of course) :) Incidentally, my brother was a surprise - even after numerous ultrasounds, they never saw him. My mom thought she was having one BIG baby until she had to have an emergency C-section. All of a sudden, after I was extracted, they reached in for my "other stuff" and found him! In the morning, my Mom woke up and couldn't remember what she had - she remembered having a girl AND a boy but knew it just wasn't possible! :) When the nurse presented us to our Dad in the waiting room (yep, old school) he said "Which one's mine?!!?!" So cute! We have always shared our birthday celebrations but my MOm always tried to make it a little special for each of us.
Twin here! My brother and I are a minute apart. I have two sisters. One birthday is in February, mine is in June, and the other is in July.
Wow, there are quite a few twins here! Someone should start a twins post...maybe I can join and be an unofficial twin? : )
My brother is 7.5 years older with a birthday 4 months from mine. We havent ever shared anything :)
I'm the oldest of three girls. The middle sister's is 9 months from mine but my youngest sister's is just a week earlier. We've always had separate birthday parties but we're also 5 years apart so we were always in different phases.
My little sister and I are 5 years, 364 days apart. Her birthday is the day before mine. Since she was born, we've shared family parties. I guess we're both so used to it, we don't think too much about it. I definitely notice that our birthdays get more attention than my other sister left out in the cold in March. Sorry, sis!

Another post about birthdays near Christmas got me wondering how many bees have sibs with birthdays really close to theirs. My brother's Bday is two days after mine! haha, how many others have close birthdays? It sucked as a kid because we always shared parties, plus its close to a holiday (not a BIG one but a much celebrated one).
