wedding is in 3 months (yay  ! !)

I have been wearing my heels around the house and I am so glad that I picked the shoes that I did, they are so comfortable.

My shoes were really comfortable in my house, at the store, and sitting down. Haha. However, as I learned, they were really uncomfortable when I had to be on my feet and mobile for an extended period of time, such as during ALL the photos, dancing and mingling with the guests at cocktail hour. When I was toddling around the house with them, I didn’t think about climbing uphill/going downhill/accounting for stones/sand/cement and being on my feet for hours.

My wedding is in April, and I got my shoes a while back (they’re my something old) and they’re ridiculously comfy.  I’ve worn these dancing, walking around the mall, for my engagement shoot and they are hands down the best pair of heels I’ve ever owned.

Here’s a pic of mine with shoe clips

I had three, yep that’s right, three pairs of shoes. Wore one pair of heels from around 3pm-8pm- first look/photos/ceremony/first dance with DH and Dad. Then, I switched into a pair of dressy sandals which made me taller than both of them (at that point, enough photos were taken, so it didn’t really matter.) Final pair (again, sandals) was put on back at the hotel for the afterparty.

SO glad I had so many shoes. It’s a LONG day- your feet would probably hurt even in sneakers.

Well since I’m crazy tall I won’t be wearing any wildly tall heels. So they might as well be comfortable if they aren’t going to be sexy heels!

lol my feet were hurting a lot when i was standing for my fitting. the seamstress said “well you’re standing still for a long time so it’s different.”  hope she’s right, but i’ll def be buying a 2nd pair of comfortable shoes for the reception
