I don’t ever actually yell (like raise my voice loudly) at my fiance during a fight but we definatley can exchange heated words. But I’ve never done any of the other things on the list. Thoughts of doing those things during a fight have really, honestly, just never even popped into my head.

I read this as “on a flight” and was like, You’ve done all that on a PLANE?!? Seems a little more normal now that I reread it.

I’ve sworn or yelled, called him offensive names (generally jackass or douchbag or asshole…really mature insults), I have cried hysterically, and I’ve left the house. Typically these things happen only for our worst fights, which are like once or twice a year.

I’ve done a couple of these.  Some of these would be deal-breakers for me – like, if you have to go drink or take pills because of a fight, that’s a major, major problem that needs to be worked out independent of the fight itself.  Yelling and cursing happens when you fight, but physically hurting yourself or someone else is a big problem to be worked out.

If it’s a massive fight and I’m really crying a lot then I lock myself in the bathroom. I hate breaking down in front of anyone, even SO.

We only raise our voices- none of the other options.

I’ve only sworn. We don’t yell, neither of us are yellers, but we swear like sailors.

I don’t usually raise my voice, but I do curse like a sailor.  That’s pretty normal for me though, so it’d be weird if I didn’t do it during a fight.  And I’ve left the apartment and took the dog on a walk once or twice, but it was more because I needed to cool off and avoid yelling/throwing things/crying hysterically than just storming out.

I have sworn and yelled (but more raised voices and moreso me than him) during a fight and cried hysterically. I have also thrown things, but not at my fiance, I was super pissed about something and I threw my phone at the wall. It ended up breaking the phone and the wall so I learned my lesson on that one! lol

With my ex we would call each other names, swear, yell, throw things, and one of us would usually have to end up leaving. I wouldn’t go back to those days for anything!
