OMG LOL, are you dressed as a unicorn in the first one? That's awesome! I didn't come across any baby pics while planning, sadly.
Aww yall are so cute! And yall are totally gonna have super-cute kids.
This is the only pic I have scanned on this computer. My FI mom always talks about how FI was the cutest baby ever...Shes not bias or anything lol

My fi was the fifth child and i was the first. I wanted to do this but can't because there're a MILLION photos of me and like 10 of him. I do know he'll take a gagillion pics of our kids, because it bothers him a little.
You my dear were a beautiful ballerina
Adorable!! Love the one of you in a tutu.
My FI just found some of his baby pictures during a trip back to his childhood home and scanned it in for me. He was such an adorable baby!
How are you thinking of using the photos at the wedding?
@HoneyBear: Love the hat and the glasses. It was obvious you were going to be a fashionable girl :)
I'll play.
I had a slideshow during cocktail hour at my wedding, so I have these on my computer already.

I'm the one in the back. My lil' sis is in front of me.

And the DH.

@HoneyBear: lol too cute!
Thanks all :)
@Nati-Lyte: Welllllllll..... I am going to attempt to build a hanging photo-display type thing. But I"m not 100% sure it is going to work because I've never seen something like it before really. Basically I'm going to build this thing out of ribbon I think(?) and hang it from two hooks against a wall. Then I'll hang the photos on cardstock and on the ribbons. I'm hoping it lays flat and doesn't look totally dumb. lol

@yrret107: super cute! i love the pic of your fi esp bc he looks so HAPPY lol
@CorgiTales: sorta something like this?

i think its an awesome idea!! :-)
awwwww!
and i love the hanging pictures! let us know how it turns out -- i might try to do it too!
@MamaHusky3: YES! Is that yours? I have never seen anything like it in real life or online. It is basically exactly what I want to do except rather than hanging from a beam I was going to hang them from a ribbon at the top. If it is yours, did you have any trouble with it? Any tips?
Awwwh! Great idea, I'd love to do something like this XD
@CorgiTales: no its not mine...i had this idea too and i found it on the knot...i'm considering doing it, not entirely sure yet....are you hanging it against a wall??
ETA: i just read one of your posts that said you are.....how bout adding a small piece of tape behind the last photo of each column and taping it to the wall?? that might keep it from turning and whatnot...
Corgi, I LOVE this idea! You two were such cute babies! I think your idea should work well. Maybe if the pictures are not laying flat you can reinforce the backs of the ribbon with something (maybe cardboard or popsicle sticks?)
Here's a picture of the photo display at our wedding. We used childhood pictures, high school/college pictures and pictures of us together. People really enjoyed looking at it and I got a lot of compliments at my wedding!

@MamaHusky3: Yes they are supposed to hang against the wall. I'm kind of nervous about how this whole thing is going to work out. Our venue is SUPER weird about anything on the walls, we're not even allowed to use those Command adhesive strips (which guarantee not to damage). They already have two hooks up which are used for hanging a screen when people use a projector, but the hooks stick out maybe 4 inches from the wall. I am going to ask my DOC to not hang the ribbon on the hooks, but rather to tie it tightly along the base of the hooks closest to the wall so hopefully the ribbon will be running right down the wall and not 4 inches away from the wall. I was also considering sending just some normal scotch tape (which shouldn't damage the wall) and telling my DOC to just do what needs to be done and if they want to bitch at me after the fact they can go for it.
The other option is to put photos on BOTH sides of the cardstock and let the photos hang away from the wall and then if they spin its no big deal. But I"m not sure that would look as nice.
@jaylii9: super cute! love that. My original idea was actually to have something more like that on the wall but because we're not allowed to hang anything ON the wall itself i had to think up something that could hang off of 2 hooks.
Oh my gosh adorable!!! I love your unicorn/bee/ballerina/fairy princess look. Too cute!!!
Just a thought about hanging it from a ribbon at the top, the line is going to sag towards the middle, so they photos aren't going to hang straight down with equal spaces between them if that makes sense. I'd be worried about them overlapping somehow. So you'd have to tie the ends pretty taut to make sure you don't end up with the photos hanging down sort of off-kilter. I'd do a test run well in advance just in case.
Back to cuteness:

This is me and one of my BM at my grandparents cottage when we were probably 8 or 9? We've been friends since we were 6 :)

@CorgiTales: when i put gift baskets together, sometimes i use balsa wood sticks to keep things standing up straight in the basket... like jaylii9 suggested maybe you could tape or glue balsa wood to the back of the ribbon to keep it all straight....they sell small flat ones at craft stores like Michaels...
Too cute! One of my mom's best friends put together a slide show of little kid (and current) pictures of DH and I to show during our cocktail hour (my mom is not very computer savvy so she couldn't do it herself). It was so cute and everyone loved seeing cute little kid pictures!
@Mrs.KMM: yea, i hope everyone likes it! My mom wanted to do a slideshow but our venue doesn't have a projector (which I found odd since they have the screens...) and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of trying to rent one and figure all that out. Decided to go low-tech with it. :)

I'm doing a photo display thing at our wedding and I spent all night scanning old photos of FI and I that I got from the moms. It is cracking me up how much we kinda look alike as little kids considering we look nothing alike now! One thing is for sure though-- if we have babies they're are going to be seriously cute. :)
anyone else come across cute baby photos while planning? care to share?
