I wrote out the addresses by hand : (17 votes)

We actually emailed ours, so I typed them all into the "BCC" box, haha....

We printed labels for our invites though. These little details are the kind of thing that can help set the tone, etc. for the wedding - we wanted to be LESS formal, so we never even really entertained the thought of hand writing addresses (or using formal names, like Dr Joseph Smith was just Joe Smith on our invites).

My Save the Dates were postcard style, so I wrote the addresses myself. Our return address was pre-printed on them. You can most definitey use labels though.

I used clear labels (although they turned out whiteish when I photographed them with a flash) and used a calligraphy type font off of dafont.com!

mmm31911 that is such a great idea!! I want our invitations to look formal but we really don't have the money to use a calligrapher.

I had postcards made at vistaprint and found a font on dafont.com that matched the script on the postcard and printed from a laser printer directly on the postcard - it came out looking wonderful
