We met in college--at my freshman orientation. He was one of the upperclassmen assigned to help out freshmen with our marching band auditions.
We met in the office he was my supervisor ha..we met and the next day he asked me out on a date lol
HALLOWEEN DAY I WAS PARTYING WITH SOME FRIENDS AND FOUND MY EX WITH MY BEST GIRLS FRIEND I GOT FURIOUS AND WENT TO A BAR TO DRINK AND MEET MY FI. HE WAS DRESS AS A GLADIATOR AND HE BECAME MY SAVIOR. HE TALK TO ME AND TOOK ME HOME. TWO MONTH LATER WE WERE LIVING TOGETHER. EVERYTHING HAPPEN SO QUICK BUT I WOULDN'T CHANGE IT FOR THE WORLD. WE BEEN TOGETHER NOW FOR 9 YEARS.
I basically chose what grad school I would attend b/c my fiance was there! (of course then he was just some guy that I thought was cute & had potential ;-)). Glad it worked out!!
We met through my ex-boyfriend - my SO and ex were good friends in high school.
We met because my roommate and his friend were dating in college so I said through school because it wasnt our friends that introduced us, we just happened to be in the same place at the same time.
we met in high school ( i was soph., he a junior) through a mutual friend. The rest is history :)
He sent me a message on MySpace and I thought he was way too cute although I used to delete everything I got from people I didn't know but not that time... - we corresponded for about a week and then met in real life and went to the zoo....followed by dinner....followed by a drink....followed by a kiss. Or ten. Or twenty. And we've been together ever since! :0)
This is kinda strange, but we met at a funeral. My grandmother passed away and when I went to her funeral, there was this really hot looking guy that was really good friends of the family; however, we had never met before. It was a really sad time in my life because not only my grandmother passed away, but I was in a very abusive marriage. We tried to be just friends, but one thing led to another and here we are 9 years later planning our wedding.
I had vowed never to get involved in a serious relationship again or to remarry, but he has been very persistant. And I finally caved and said yes.
We beleive very strongly that my grandmother brought us together.

We technically met in college, but he was one of my professors and internship advisor lol so yeah, not really. (and nothing happened then). Several years later we ran into each other on the street, chatted for a bit, I e mailed him when I got back to my office and asked if he wanted to grab a drink sometime. He e mailed me *right* back, said yes, we went a couple nights later and have been together ever since! (3.5 years now).
FI and I met on a blind date. It was my sophmore year of college and one of my friends said that I needed to meet this awsome guy who was best friends with her boyfriend. It happened that he was going to by in the area for a job fair and my friends thought that it would be a perfect time for us to meet. We set up a time but it wasn't until 9:00 pm, after I got out of class. Well, after an interesting time at a local diner of bad pie and even worse coffee, FI and I went back to the campus and talked until 4:00 am. Ever since that night we've been together! 4 years and now planning our wedding 
We met in a Dental Lab. I was on my externship for school and he trained me. :)
We met in our sixth grade class. Then in high school we both worked at the same place, and that's how we started hanging out.
We met at my local pub! I'd gone with my girlfriends to see a band play and he'd gone with his friends too. I recognised him from school cos we were in classes together at university but we'd never really spoken. Anyway, after many glances and smiles he came over and introduced himself. I found out later that a friend I'd been sitting with had pointed at me and gave the thumbs up sign to one of his mates so he knew he was in with a shot LOL!
Yeah we didn't meet very "conventially" lol whatever the definition of that is.
I moved to New York just to "get out" and have a chance to start over. I'd spent 19 years in a small town and had just gotten out of a painful, serious relationship, and needed time away.
So I moved to New York to be a live-in nanny. I immediately started trying to meet people, so I went so a Sunday night young adults thing at a local church and I was invited to play volleyball the next night with a group of young people. I went the next night but didn't really meet anyone. I went the next week and after playing volleyball, the group of guys invited me to eat out with them after, and my SO met up with his friends at the restaurant, so I met him there... I started seeing him around volleyball and the weekly bible study.
It was such a fun way getting to know him, through a wide array of activities. It was unpretentious, for me anyway haha. but he claims it was love at first sights :)
Appropriately, we met at a mutual friend's wedding :) Best wedding I have ever been to!!!
My fiance and I met on an airplane! We were both flying to different cities and had the same stop over... we were sat by each other for the 1 1/2 hour flight! Its the start to our fairytale! :) (most people don't believe it though! hehe)
we met when were 13!! lost touch and re-connected years later through e-mail :)
We met at a coffee shop in NYC(he lived there and I lived in Washington State). I started talking to him about the pastries... and it all started there (to make a long story short!)
OKCupid. He was my highest worldwide match when I lived in MA, and when I moved to Pittsburgh, we went on our first date. Clearly, it went well :)
I knew him in high school but i never cared so i didnt talk to him then i met him 4 years later at a bar....i know, i know... :)
