    My friend and I go out to dinner pretty regularly - once every week or so.

    I just asked her the other night. Nothing fancy, just conversation and happiness :)

    We had a Meet the Bridal Party and I set these up with Ringpops in a ringbox. Check it out here.

    we were hanging out with our SOs and they were in the other room and we were sitting in one of my BMs closet (if u saw her closet you’d want to sit and chat in there too) and I just asked them and they said yes and we all got so excited and starting looking at dresses! lol

    I didn't know asking in a special way was a thing. We'd all been talking about me getting married for a little while, so by the engagement, they just knew. I just asked them if they could go dress shopping that Friday because I wanted my bridesmaids there.

    I have one bridesmaid, she lives about 4 hours from me.  I rang her to tell her that I was engaged, and told her she was going to be my bridesmaid.  She squealed, and said "yes yes yes yes yes!".  Job Done :)

    I found a printable online, it was pink and said "When the time comes to say 'I Do' we wouldn't want to do it without you!" I wrote something nice about each friendship in the card. I put it in a picture holder that said 'love' with a big fake blingy ring and a cheesy button that said 'wedding party'. They liked it, or pretended to. :)

    I bought these books that have all of these really hilarious real life bridesmaid dresses. On the inside of the front cover I wrote "If I promise not to make you wear any of these --->" and then on the inside of the back cover I wrote "will you be my Bridesmaid?" (or Maid of Honor).

    @beargoose:  I am loving that book idea! I have a large wedding party so I don't think I will buy one for everyone, but maybe include it in my day-of survival go-to basket that I plan on making, just for some laughs.

    I did cookies, kind of like these but B&W, then I wrapped them in clear candy bags, and tied them with ribbon. The ribbon was the color I wanted them to use to buy a dress, so it was really a 2 in 1 kinda thing :)

    @les105:  I love your cookies!

    I don't even think I asked my BM's...  I was MOH in ones wedding and the other is my sister!

    I did cookies for our Jr BM's, FG and ushers (my FI's neices and nephews!)

    nothing fancy.  I asked a couple of them via IM while we were talking online and then a few via email as they are out of country.  I purposely did it individually so that no girls / boys feel like they are obligated to do it or feel bad if they had to decline it for various reasons.  :)

    i also did nothing fancy~

    Was too excited so I just texted my ladies but now I wish I would have waited to steal all the beautiful ideas you guys had!

    One of my BFFs is getting married in June and I've gone very quite with my wedding details to make sure she has all the shine from now until her wedding SO I WAS THINKING...

    Maybe I'd make a little bridesmaid kit for my girls to bring them up to speed on all the plans and like "ask" them formally... cuz I really want that pretty little memory as well!

    I had custom cards made and wrote a poem inside. I then posted the cards so noone who suspect a thing. It worked like a charm!!!
