Nola March 27, 2011 Traverse City, MI getting married in New Orleans

I am looking at trying to find a unique way to ask my girls to be in my wedding. They are in different locations so I can't ask most of them in person. I had thought about sending them a card or making an etched glass with their name and adding a little note. Any other fun ideas or ways that other Bee's have done it that made for a great memory?

All of my girls live in different locations too! None of them even live in the same state as I do! So, I ordered these cookies, personalized them for each girl with their name and requested duty (MOH, bridesmaid, flower girl) and mailed them to each girl with a similar card. I found a cute "Will you be My Bridesmaid" poem and wrote that inside each card and then mailed them all so they would arrive on the same date. Getting all of their phone calls on the same evening after they had opened them was great!

The cookies are so cute. I was thinking about maybe doing these cute little pocket mirrors in a fabric that will match my wedding colors.

However, I need help coming up with a cute poem that would go with these. Mirror Mirror on the wall you are the fairest friend of them all. Will you be part of my biggest day? Ugh help me fix this!
