So after much consideration Darling Husband and I decided to get this ring custom made with a few tweaks, by a local jeweler:
And it’s supposed to be done in two weeks!! My question to ya’ll is: How do you wait?? I’m so excited and so nervous!
Your advice is welcome!!

Good choice. I didn’t like the other one very much. It was unique, but not in a good way. This one is very pretty.. What tweaks are you getting done? This is the ring I’m having made:

Its hard. You just gotta distract yourself. Plan wedding stuff, hang with friends etc.

I’m getting it as a half eternity band instead of a full (I don’t want to lose any stones), either orange sapphires or citrines instead of diamonds, and milgrain detail 🙂
I saw your ring on another post, it’s gorgeous!!!

@NurseMandie: I’m already married, so no wedding stuff to plan, but I’m trying to focus on school and friends 🙂

That sounds pretty. Citrine is gorgeous but I think the orange sapphire would be best as the center stone since it’s a 9 on the MOHs scale and citrine is a 7. Citrine or sapphire would be fine in the setting I imagine.
This ring looks like it’d cost a fortune to hsve made because of allllll those diamonds. are they channel set? channel set stones are very secure so you wouldn’t have to worry about losing them, but I would also only get half an eternity since you can’t even see the other stones and it costs more for the stones and labor. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s all done. def post a picture!
