When my fiance and I first started discussing wedding dates, I knew I wanted a Fall wedding and we knew we'd have to wait until 2010 for financial reasons. Thus, 10/10/10 was born...until I realized it is a Sunday. For reasons that I don't feel I need to explain as I don't want to offend anyone who is going with this date, we decided we don't want a Sunday wedding. So we just went with a saturday in October. But then, on the train ride to work this morning I started thinking about it. Our current date doesn't really mean anything special to me and it's not a fun 10/10/10 type of date. Should I switch it to a September date in hopes of nicer/warmer weather? All of a sudden I had all these possibilities of other dates swirling arpund in my mind. Ultimately, I think we're sticking with our second best date just because we've talked to vendors and venues about it and I have no better date in mind. But still...How did you choose your date?
