I found it linked from another blog when I was searching through the wedding web-o-sphere for stuff on non-trad engagement rings.
... is it bad that I have absolutely NO idea how I found it? I really and truly don't. I've been reading it forever, it seems like.
Ah. Ha.
Ah. Ha.
Ah. Ha, Mr. Bee. So. Funny.
JK!
I was totally SICK of the knut and came over here for some relief from the cattiness!!!
I was a little slow on the uptake on that one, Mr. Bee.
"Wow, he's been reading it for a long time? That's pretty cool that a dude has been reading it for- WAIT A MINUTE."
I'm a spaced-out trixie right now, and I blame it on my sick meds. :p
i stumbled upon it on when i googled "rustic wedding" and a link to Cherry Pies recaps came up. I had no idea what a blog or wedding blog for that matter, was. I remember coming to the site and not "getting it" so i left. I returned shortly thereafter because it seemed every time i googled something, WB would show up.
The rest is history and now i subscribe to over 100 wedding blogs. Sigh, what a difference a year makes!
I was searching for DIY tutorials on something or other and ended up here. I actually thought it was a site for crafters exchanging ideas and projects. I don't think I totally got what it was for like a week!
I think I was in a dress crisis...Put a deposit on something I regretted and was looking for suggestions on the internet to get out of it. Don't know exactly how I stumbled upon Weddingbee , but I'm so glad I did! Since then I feel like I got a million questions answered, there's no way I would've figured out most of this wedding stuff on my own.
@MrsKtobe - I hadn't really heard about the Knot until I'd been on WB for a while. After seeing a few comments like "you ladies are so nice, not like on the Knot" I took a gander at their boards. HOLY CRAP! I have no idea why anyone would even bother posting a serious question. Yikes.
I was searching for ideas for a friends wedding (I'm the MOH) and I stumbled on the blog. I was instantly HOOKED! :-)
@mrbee...hahaha *so* funny ;)
I found it from google right after I got engaged! and I'm so glad I did!
I googled "My boyfriend has a ring when will he propose?" and found the boards! Lol ;)
I was looking for morning wedding timelines and came across Mrs Daffodil's timeline. Once I started reading the other blogs, I was hooked!
My FSIL! <3 she also told me about etsy! What I ever did without here... i'm not entirely sure!!!
I was looking for a Maggie Sottero wedding dress.. and this website popped up on google... I ignored it once.. than was looking some more.. Next thing I know i was responding, reading.. laughing..and all the good stuff
Waaaaay back when it was a featured blog on Xanga... so, 2006? I thought DH and I were getting married in 2007, so I started reading and kept on until the baby was born. Now I'm just a boards girl, I can't keep up and I don't know who all these new Bees are.
Search engine - I googled how often to clean my ring and WeddingBee popped up as one of the answers.
I was browsing a bridal magazine which gave me a website for off beat brides .com... From there there was a comment that said that craigslist had a wedding forum. I joined into the wedding forum and some girl posted pics of her wedding and said that she pretty much disappeared from craigslist as soon as she found out about wedding bee. Out of curiosity I went to weddingbee.com and was hooked. I love it so much I go on it at least once a day.
Congrats bees!
I found ms. Lab's wedding blog (not on weddingbee) and then read the post about how she got selected to be a bee and I had to figure out what the heck that was... it was a door to a whole new world lol. I'm hooked!
Chelseamorning told me about it when she was planning her wedding. I started reading it and loved it. Seven months later when I actually became officially engaged, I came out of lurking status!
I found it in a wedding magazine. Two of them had lists of the best wedding websites, and this was one I liked!
Google! I was being highly productive at work before I was engaged (shh) and did a search for something wedding related. Up popped the 'bee! I kept searching for stuff and Weddingbee kept coming up in my top search results. I was like okay, I gotta join this place, these people give awesome advice.
My photographer told me about y'all! I was sad at how mean some people were to other brides on the knot boards--the kind of crazy advice they were being given, and she suggested Weddingbee cause she thought y'all were more my style. She was right! :-)
I was googling the name of the gown I was interested in and asking its price. One of the options was Mrs Cowboy Boots page where she had her final fitting that gave the price break down of her gown. I was very confused what this was and didn't revisit until I realized (via facebook) I went to college w/ Mr. Cowboy Boot. I tried googling again and I couldn't figure out how I found that page. I kept trying and finally that page came back. I clicked all around and for a while just read their story. Each time I visited the site I learned more and more...Explored more and more…saw threads. then became obsessed with all things wedding related….then got engaged.. Then realized I wanted to be part of this place, HAHAHAHHAHA
My floral designer had a link on her blog...cause she's a rockstar!

What's the story of how you found Weddingbee?
For me it was completely non wedding related. I was googling for invitation ideas for a work event and I stumbled upon Pengy's post about Goccoing her invites with Mrs. Lemon. To say that I was immedietly hooked would be an understatement.
How about you?
