I have just started to feel the baby here and there at 17weeks.
I was wondering when does this become consistent? Sometimes a day or two will go by before I feel the baby again. I know it’s still early, but I was just wondering. Thanks In Advance.

I have an anterior placenta so I still don’t feel the baby move much (19 wks 2 days). I felt a few tickles at 17 weeks and have felt some touches/bumps, but nothing really obvious. My doctor tells me it should get stronger over the next few weeks.

I was in my 15th week when I first felt little flutters. It became daily probably by 16/17 weeksbut was still just a little pop here and there. From 18 and on I have started to feel sleep/wake patterns and its an all day kinda thing.

For me personally I didn’t feel a thing until 18-19 weeks, and then once I started feeling the baby I started feeling her regularly almost right away. Her kicks got stronger very quickly. She does go through long periods of inactivity though, and early on if I wasn’t paying attention during her active phases I would have totally missed them. I know everyone has a really different experience with kicking depending on how you’re carrying, how the baby is positioned, where your placenta is, etc.

I first felt some flutters around 16/17 weeks. I would feel occasional kicks almost every day around 20, but it got consistent and daily around 22 wks. I’m 26 weeks now and it is definitely all day kicking, punching, rolling over, and squirming.

@winniewolf: I am suspicious that maybe i have an anterior placenta too. (Still haven’t gotten my ultrasound debreif so maybe I’ll find out mid-January at that.
For me, still very little movement. A bubble here and there and once or twice a week a ‘flip’ sensation. 22 weeks tomorrow. I will admit that it does worry me a bit.

@mwitter80: I felt the baby move for the first time when I was 16 weeks.
I just started feeling her consistently the day before yesterday (I am 21 weeks). Since then, I feel her constantly.
Just last night I felt my first real kick. Up until then I was only feeling flutters, but last night I felt a real intense jolt right under my belly button. She’s feisty!

Ok so it looks like I’m looking at up to a month or so for consistency. Thanks ladies!

When did you start feeling baby kick frequently?
I’m 23 weeks and still have not been feeling the baby consistently. Come to find out I have a anterior placenta so I feel better about it now.
