We have lots of songs that I consider “our song.” I just went with the one that would be easiest to dance to . . . not too fast, not too long, and went with the feeling of our wedding.

Our song is on the CD we listened to on our first date–and I actually remember wondering if someday it would be about us. 🙂 We’ve always looked at each other when we hear it come on, and it’s meaningful as well. It’s “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colby Caillat.

ETA–I’m getting all teary-eyed thinking about it!

Our song popped out of the air, I am forbidden to tell anyone what it is till our wedding day. It had never been in our list of considerations, and suddenly it hit me! My finance was a little hesistant but I new he loved it. We aren’t in love with the actual song or the words but more the feeling you get when you listen to it. We are really excited and after the wedding day I totally plan to share our song.

We don’t have “a song” and I have no idea how we’ll pick one to dance to.

@Mrs.Vowrenewal:  It was the same for us.  My husband linked me the song “Everything” by Alanis Morissette  and I got the chills listening to it!  It was just so *us*!  🙂  We’d only been dating for 2 months but I asked him then and there if we could have that song at our wedding (fyi we’d already been talking marriage so this wasn’t out of the blue).
