Ours were the Canadian Provinces/Territories. People found their tables on a big map at the front, and each table was marked with a vintage postcard from that Province. It was really fun! Then when we called up the buffet tables, we did a city from each of the Provinces.

Ours are going to be street signs, the theme is “The Roads that brought us together”.

We are going to name them after a bunch of streets where we’ve lived through our lives.

We are getting married in a theatre, so we’re naming all of the tables after old theatres around the country, and everyone’s name tag will look like a ticket.

Me and you- kenny chesney
Somewhere with you- kenney chesney
Crazy girl- eli young band
Baby I love your ways- Peter Frampton
Brown eyed girl- van morrison
Better together- jack Johnson
I want to know what love is- forigner
Nothing compares to you- sinad o connor

We’re doing constellation names; our theme is “written in the stars”/celestial/stars

We did numbers that were significant in our relationship… # of days we’ve been together (2294), zipcode where we met, our favorite running distance (3000), special dates (when we first started dating, first “i love you”, when we moved into our house), etc. Our wedding has taken on a running theme, so I designed our table numbers to look like bib numbers that runners wear in races.

I plan to use basic numbers, but include pictures of him and me at those ages.

E.g., Table 1 will include pictures of each of us at 1 year old, etc.

My wedding is supposed to be themed to the “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” of our lives 🙂

@MrsTimmy:  Super cute and original (at least to me).

We’re doing places we’ve been together on vacation.

We named our tables after the places we have traveled together.  On each table we had a frame with the menu on one side, and the name of the table with a description of why it was special on the other!  We made sure to mention guest names of who we visited or who lived there in the description.  The guests really seemed to like it!
