Are you doing yours in a creative way? I am going to propose to Hubby, like he did to me. I will take him to Starbucks and go to “Our” park. I wil then get down on one knee and ask if he will be my baby’s daddy.
It’s going to be hard not to tell him after I see it on the stick, though. LOL

I had different plans while we were TTC–bought a personalized onesie, made a care package of funny “Dad” books, bought “Dad” personalized stuff like “World’s Best Dad” coffee mugs, but as the months went by with no BFP I ended up just giving them to him.
When I got my first BFP, we had been TTC for 10 months, and I couldn’t wait to do something cute, so I woke him up at 5 AM to show him the test. With the second BFP he had woken up when I was in the bathroom, thought I was stinking up the joint because I’d be in there so long (having a mini panic attack on the floor), so he went upstairs to use the bathroom, and when he came back I was sitting on the bed holding out the test. Both times no creativity at all, just overwhelmed and feeling about a billion different things and needed him to know.

I don’t think I’ll do anything special at all. I’m pretty sure I’ll shove the stick I peed on in his face. I’m romantic like that. I will definitely try to test when he is home, though, so we will both know at the same time. I couldn’t hold it for a few hours until I saw him!

I ran screaming outside waving the test in the air.
But, seriously, if I ever find out again I don’t think I could contain myself long enough.

When our time comes I plan on buying him a little onsie of his favorite sports team 🙂

We both looked at the pregnancy test at the same time! It was awesome for us to both find out at the exact time that we were expecting our daughter!

The first time I got pregnant, I surprised hubby with a “present” – inside was a onside and a positive pregnancy test. I will never forget the look on his face! 🙂 (He’s a surfer and I grew up in Santa Cruz).
Unfortunately, that pregnancy ended in miscarriage. We got pregnant soon after and I ended up just telling him. He was so nervous about it not working out that he didn’t even act excited… just told me to test again in a few day. 🙁 I wish I’d done something special for the 2nd one too. I was just filing out a pregnancy journal and it made me sad that I didn’t have anything good to write in that section.

I called him at work freaking out! It definitely was not planned and was a complete surprise. He came home and we sat here for a while just staring at the wall. All is good now though!

We always knew that we’d have a high risk of miscarriage and probably problems with any pregnancies so he always knew when I was testing so that we could support each other.

@Running Elley: Same! Darling Husband was always right there or pretty much in the next room knowing that I was testing!

the first time i was pregnant i went out and bought a little outfit with a motorcyle on it and a bib that says “what did they do before me” . sadly we miscarried. but my hubby still keeps that outfit hanging in his closet next to his motorcycle jacket, which makes me smile. 🙂
the second time i found out, i woke him up yelling that i took a test and it was positive (he didnt know i was testing bc i was SO sure i was getting my period) and basically shoving the test in his face. he was so excited and actaully liked how i told him this way better then hte first because it was simple.

For our Dirty Delete, we were long-distance because my Fiance was away for school, so I had to tell him over the phone (he was actually outside in January in a pay-phone booth). For our next pregnancy (which we plan on TTC after the wedding), I’ll probably get our Dirty Delete a ‘Big Sister’ shirt, or something.. who knows. 😛
