Typicallly there are options when it comes to carrying the rings to / during the Ceremony…

1- Ring Bearer carries BOTH rings (traditional)

2- Best Man carried the Bride’s Ring, and MOH carries the Groom’s Ring (traditional)

3- In Weddings without a Bridal Party, the B&G each carry the other’s ring… OR the Groom with Pockets carries them both.

For my BIG White Pouffy Family Wedding (circa 1980) we went with # 1, for my Elopement this time round, we went with # 3

Lol, Photographer took a great photo of Mr TTR at that particular moment in the Ceremony digging around in his pocket for the Ring Box.

I do recommend tho as the other Bees have, that you don’t transport the rings loose (easily lost).

They can be tied / pinned down to a Ring Bearer’s Pillow… and if an adult is in charge of them, they should be tucked safely inside a ring box (or something you’ve chosen / made for the occasion… such as a velvet bag, special box, etc)

Hope this helps,

We actually gave our rings to our moms. We tied them to their corsages, and then we had them bring them up when it was time to exchange. It was nice to involve them in that way.

When my older brother got married, our younger brother (best man) had the bride’s ring on his pink finger, and her sister (moh) held his ring with her bouquet. They pretty much did the same thing at our wedding. (but my MOH didn’t give the best man the ring until right before the ceremony, so he wouldn’t lose it)

DH’s Best Man carried them loose in his pocket. No troubles, except mine was very thin and he did tell us later that he had a small scare during our ceremony when he couldn’t find mine right away in his pocket (it was there, just in the corner). They were in the ring box just right up to the ceremony though. If he can fit it in is pocket, keeping it in the ring box is prob the best bet. We didn’t need a double ring box because my ring actually fit perfectly into DH’s ring.

Our best man kept my ring in his pocket and my MOH kept DH’s ring on her finger. It worked out just fine!

My MOH will have my FI’s ring (her dress has pockets) and his BM will have mine.  We haven’t made any special boxes for them. I’m not worried.
