Do you usually make up and just did different colors or heavier makeup for the wedding?   Or are you normally an "au naturale" beauty and so makeup was a big deal for your wedding day?

My make up was a bit heavier, but not too much. I don't usually wear eyeshadow or eye liner or anything but I did for the wedding. Otherwise I think I looked fairly similar, make up wise! When I did the make up trial, they put blue eye shadow on me and since I don't usually wear it, I thought i just needed to get used to it. But I really hated it by the end of the day and was sure to let the make up lady know on the actual day of the wedding. We went with a brown/tan instead, so it wasn't too noticable and i was much happier!

My makeup will be my "special occasion" makeup and my hair a neater updo than my normal messy ones, but pretty much me just a little bit more done.

My makeup was pretty much the same, just heavier and with fake lashes... maybe a bit more "pink" than I typically wear (I usually wear more browns). My hair was the same... I just wore it down because I never wear my hair up when I go out!

I think about my wedding day makeup and sigh, I loved it. It was me, only 1000% better.

My wedding day look was just sort of a punched up version of what I'd wear on a regular day.  I had a pretty neutral pallette, but went a little more dramatic on the eyes and a darker lip color.  As for the hair, I did that a little fancier--with curls and updo, instead of my 2 standards--straightened hair down or pony tail.

I'm having a small civil service wedding, and not having a gown, just a pretty dress.

But my hair will be done by my hairdresser and she makes it looks "special" but not like soemthing for glamour shots. She is placing flowers in my hair and again making it not "too finished" so that if strands start to fall out, that's fine.

The make-up will be more or less the same as everyday with just a little bit of punch. I worked for a make-up counter before and used to work on bridal and prom make-up, and basically, you want your make-up to be just a little more than average so that it accentuates your feaure on the pictures. Normal everyday natural make-up on photos tend to make people look washed out.

Since I'm not working, I'm very low maintainence these days. So I will be wearing makeup and having my hair done. My fiance may not recognize me!

my makeup will be a more dramatic (and better executed) version of what i do when i get dressed to go out.

my hair will hopefully be something i've always liked but never figured out how to do - use a curling iron!

Not very different at all. I can only say "not very" because it seems like these days I only wear mascara. When I do put on makeup, it's about the same.
