if there's none left you have to re-book yuor ticket for anoth er time or a destination to get there and wait again--yuor bags may have been on theflight though

I've been bumped off more frequently because they been reducing load

how do I know this--I used this for the entire longdistance relationship I had with my british FI, my sister is a flight attendant

the list is extensive you have to have your friend look up where to go or look up the website; I look at the map on their magazine and pick out a country; I have flown to europe for just $350 business

I fly business 95% of the time

I fly on my aunt's delta buddy passes quite frequently!

If I were you, I'd go to the delta website.  See where the flights go, and what the carriers are - you can't use a buddy pass if it's a CODESHARE flight.  It needs to be a delta plane.

With respect to latin america, as far as I know, Delta flys direct from Atlanta to Santiago, at the very least!

dont know about south america, I think there are a few cities, I was never interested, Ihave always used it for europe, see message above I added the places

my sister has been with delta for about 9 years so I always get business woo-hoo, I have been bumped off lately but at least I fly business!!!

yes that makes a difference on if you get bumped off
