my suggestion is to start with something small and manageable, check it off the list and see if that gets you back "in the mode" as it were. I had a lull of planning in January and February for my sept wedding, and I had to get back on the planning in March as well. I'd pop in a cute wedding movie (27 Dresses, Bride Wars, Father of the Bride, etc) and tackle some DIY project or get some final decisions made. Being able to check some manageable task off the list gave me a sense of accomplishment and was a good way to ease back into it. Good luck getting back in the groove!
Ugh- I know what you mean! I kind of got "over" my wedding awhile back and had to really motivate myself to get back into planning mode. I finally had to make a list and start checking it off.
I like denverbirdlet's suggestion of watching a wedding movie though- what a great idea!
@denver...the movie is a great idea....only i dont exactly know where my wedding movies are...well i do...they're in our discgears with the rest of our movies....what i dont know is where my movie index is. we havent unpacked that box yet. we have roughly 400 dvds in the discgears...it would take me awhile to find them lol!
@miss root... i love the list idea! i think thats what im going to have to do.
thanks bees!!!

i just moved from washington to illinois and since we've moved i cant seem to get back into wedding planning mode! my wedding is in less than 4 months and i have alot of stuff to do! ahhh! before we moved my neighbor and i always had wedding pow-wows since her wedding is the weekend after mine and we share very similar taste. it always seemed that if one of us was having a problem coming up with an idea for the wedding the other one would chime in with "why dont you do this?" and then bam! the problem was solved! we were quite the team! lol! has anyone else had the problem of having a hard time getting back into wedding mode? especially when its getting down to crunch time?
