So I have a somewhat clear vision of what I want the wedding to be, (color and feeling wise). My mother however is totally not getting it. She’s the kind of person who unless she sees something, she can’t imagine it. I want to put together an inspiration board to help her visualize what I’m going for but I have NO IDEA how to do that. Is there a program or website I can use to make one? Any help would be appreciated.

You just gather all the iimages that you like, think patterns, flowers, dresses, everything and then either drag and drop them into a program (photoshop is great but I just made a powerpoint slide) I think it did help my mom and Fiance to understand what I was saying since I think at firs tmy mom was seeing bumblebees 🙂

Here is a blog entry showing how to do it.
How To Create A Mood/Inspiration Board I: The SuperEASY Way
I’ve used the website mosaic maker to make an inspiration board, and it came out pretty well for a free website (I don’t have photoshop so I was looking for a free option). I like that you can add a little pizzazz to it (like how i made the lines between mine pink), which I wouldnt know how to do in powerpoint.
Here is one I did from that site

I used PowerPoint too.
It must be a Mum thing as I emailed mine to my Mum so she knew what exactly I meant by turquoise or as I now call it Tiffany blue and she printed it off, so guess it was a help.

I can see where you’re going with it 😉
I’ve got quite a few now – 1 for flowers, 1 for BMs, 1 for my colour . I did one on paper which is out of cut up magazines to show the feel I want for the day and I’ll treasure that as it was my first thoughts when planning,

@CatyLady: hehe thanks! I’m glad you get it.
I showed this to my mom and her response was that she didn’t like the Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets. URGH. This is not meant to be taken literally mom!

I’m glad you asked this, I was wondering how people made them too.
