It looks like flowers that have been strung on fishing line! Not sure if they are real or artificial, but it would be pretty easy to do with paper flowers.

All you’d need are the flowers (you can find several tutorials for the paper ones online), a needle and thread/fishing line. They probably tied little knots to prevent the flowers from slipping down/to keep them evenly spaced.

For starters, you’d need a beach!

I second the PP’s suggestion of flowers on fishing line – it looks pretty simple to do 🙂

@Henofthewoods:  agreed! looks like paper cranes to me!

i think a flower variant could also be pretty though.

Look on ebay for door curtains. I use them on my arbor. I have crystal ones. This is not my image but it is the same thing.

I used etsy for my backdrop.  There’s TONS of options.  I chose a fabric one – she customizes them in your wedding colors.  If you like it, I’ll can dig up the seller’s name for you.  I think this was only like $30-40.  Here’s a pic from my wedding:

Aww, thanks!  http://www.etsy.com/people/Adaura

It seems the price went up a bit since my wedding.  🙁   Here’s another pic just because I love it so much.  I might be willing to sell mine, if you’re interested.  Poor thing is just sitting in a box somewhere.

@rurahrah:  Your ceremony set up is lovely thanks for sharing! Thanks for the link the seller has lots of options. Unfortunatley I think I will need one that’s much wider for my space thanks so much for the thought though! Smile
