I have an ad in the classifieds where I offered “couture maps” for $100. However I have been threatened with legal action because the term is owned by Stephannie Barba. I had NO IDEA that anyone could own the words “COUTURE MAP”, so I certainly didn’t mean any harm. My problem is I promised her I would take the ad down, but there’s not a way to remove it. I did render it inactive, as that was the only thing I could find that I could do immediately. Does anyone know how I go about removing it? Or who to contact to remove it? She gave me 14 days, or she is threatening me with legal action…which of course I don’t wish to happen.
I am just a stay at home Mom who does calligraphy as a way to pay for my medications, for my painful nerve disease… I never meant to harm anyone’s business. I believe there is plenty of business out there for all of us and wish all of my fellow artists successful careers in the wedding field. I believe there are folks out there who can afford Stephannie’s work and folks who can’t and can afford mine.
Can someone just take the ad down for me, an administrator or something? I am still learning the rules of the site, and have broken other rules inadvertantly. Learning as I go!
Thanks to all the bees who have ordered with me and happily received their orders!
thanks for any help anyone can give me with this problem….
and to fellow calligraphers/artist… don’t use the words couture map!
blessings and happy wedding planning!
