Okay, so this is partly in jest and partly in seriousness. I was just informed that internet will be down at my apartment tomorrow all day. Normally that would be fine, if I had a typical work schedule. But I don’t. I work Sun -Tues/Wed 12 hrs a day. Which means I will be home all day tomorrow while everybody else is at work. And I have NOTHING to do! I was counting on internet to get me by (yeah, I am that lame) but, no internet. How will I ever survive one day partialy unplugged??? (Oh, and my TV? Yeah, is connected to my internet.) Tomorrow was supposed to be the only insanely lazy day I have for the rest of the month! It also means no WB. 🙁
Sad day… What do you guys do when you are banned from the interwebs? My place is clean and Mr. Hedgie would DIE if I started any one of the thousands on projects I have planned for when we finally sign on our new home.

@Mrs Hedgehog: Ugh, I can empathize. When we moved into our new apartment there was a screw-up with Comcast…they never sent the cables to hook up our internet (totally their fault, not mine), so we didn’t have it for almost a week. I worked on some sewing projects and watched my Veronica Mars dvds.

@AJester2: I didn’t think about Red Box… Hmm… There are some chick flix Mr. Hedgie would never want to see…

That’s my own version of hell. Seriously, when we lose power I’m on the verge of a panic attack after the first few hours. I don’t cope welll without without my connection to the outside world (it’s sad, I know).
If I were in your position, I’d probably wake up late. Take my time in the AM and putz around a bit. Then go shopping. After I’ve wasted a good chunk of the day, I’d come home and make an awesome dinner and cross my fingers that by that time the internet is back on.

This was me yesterday! Our internet and cable TV didn’t work. I was just hoping it’d be back on by Dance Moms and the return of Teen Mom (don’t worry–it was :-)). I watched a lot of TV shows on DVD, used some time to do some packing, and did some cooking. Thankfully, I still had internet on my phone, so that helped ease the pain.

I recently (2 months ago) lost tv and internet completely. Its rough I have to use my phone for all my internet needs now and I was used to being connected 24/7. We just watch a lot of movies and take walks. When I’m alone I draw or work out or read, they take up a lot of time. 🙂
