Here are the details of the reception and food.
Cocktail Hour at 4
Food will be served at 5
And it will be buffet style, though the caterer company is not staying around to clean up the dishes, etc. Do I have to mention that to our guests so they arent expecting people to pick up their used dishes(we’re using throw away dishes)? And plus we were going to cook our own meat and have people(mostly very close family and friends would have brought something like a brother, mother, etc.) bring sides at first. Buffet style. But now we arent going to go that way so no one has to worry about bringing food(long story there). So I was thinking of putting something like this:
Catered buffet, by Bunzels…………..what do you think??
How would you word all of that?? Im so confused. Please help bees. Im at a loss. Thank you for any help.

As for the throwing out the plates have some people (close friends, family) lead by example. Once guests see other people throwing their plates away, others will follow suite.
Do you have a wedding website that you could put the catering information on?

@coffeegal85: Yes, I plan on putting this on our website too. But there are some who just dont do the internet. So I want to make sure I word it right. Maybe Im just over thinking it.
Would it be just wrong to name the caterer or keep the name off of it?

I would call the family members who were originally going to bring food and let them know it’s no longer needed. I’d also ask someone to help clear plates if the guests don’t do it themselves. You might consider hiring a local teenage kid $40 to help out with the cleanup to make it easier on yourself and your guests.

@MidwestBride2012: Yeah calling up all the people is a very good idea. I must be stressed because that is common sense. lol
