After a long ordeal, I finally got my engagement ring back from the jeweller just in time for my wedding. Now that I’ve had a chance to see my wedding band and e-ring together, I’m worried about how they look. There’s a bit of a gap and the e-ring band is not quite as flat and square as my wedding band.
I am in love with my wedding band (which exactly matches FI’s!) and my ering and wouldn’t change a thing about either of them, so if it’s terrible, I’ll just have to live with it. But some reassurance that I’m crazy would be awesome. What do you think, bees? Do they look off?

I think they look absolutely fine, lovely in fact. Maybe a nice thin diamond eternity band would even look nice in between (for your first anniversary, or something?).
I think your worrying is unnecessary. x

@MrsBee2B: Thanks, that’s really reassuring. I had the same thought about an eternity band, and there is a lovely band that matches my halo that I was hoping to see around year 15 (we’re marrying in a week but we’ve been dating for almost 14 years). I think it would fill the space perfectly, but my fiance hates jewelry in genereal and told me that adding an eternity band would be “guilding the lily”. Lol! I’m going to have to work on that one a bit. 😛

@Junip3r: I think a very thin eternity band would work – your bands together are quite wide, so I think the contrast would be really pretty. Tell your Fiance that it’s not him that has to wear it 😉
Good luck for next week – exciting! 🙂

@Junip3r: “Guilding the lily?” What can I say? Men! They just don’t get it, do they?
I agree with a PP, it’s not him that has to wear it! You’ve been together for 14 years, I bet in all this time you’ve bought him at least one present that was something you didn’t particularly like yourself but you knew he loved it, right? A present is about the person who receives it!
I think your set would look gorgeous with a thin eternity band, especially because you have such elegant long fingers. Your set is already quite wide and looks beautiful on you whereas my “baby hands” would look like an overdecorated Christmas tree! lol
Good luck next week, I hope everything goes according to plan! 🙂
