I'm not usually into modern furniture, but I am in LOVE with the pattern on the 2nd one. Where are they from?
I think they look nice if they fit with your decor/style. The first one looks more "me" than the second one.
The first one kind of reminds me of a dog crate but I like the second one, though maybe thats only because I've been obsessed with that pattern lately.
I love them! I really want something in the style of the Oeuf Classic Crib someday.

I'm not crazy about the first one, I do kinda like the 2nd one but not in that color. I do like modern furniture but when it comes to baby cribs I prefer something more traditional
I did like the first one more until PP mentioned a dog crate ..now I cant get it out of my head. The second one is nice as well , but I would suggest changing the bedding to something more safe and less loofah like ;)
I'm not a fan of the first one but the second one is SO CUTE. Love the pattern!
Not real big fan of either. The second one is tolerable because of the pattern, but the style of the pattern and the rest of the crib don't seem to jive to me.
I'd rather go for something more traditional.
@CanadianMermaid: I didn't think dog crate either until people said it. I thought it was simple and masculine, while still being white.
The tule in the crib was an odd choice for sure
I love them! We're really into modern furniture though. We'll probably be getting an Oeuf crib.
I love the quatrefoil! I like sleek design for baby rooms. Before the baby comes, the big, blocky furniture looks great. When the toys start rolling in, I feel like it's nice to have furniture that doesn't have a huge footprint.
@skibobrown: I really Oeuf, but DH's father has offered to buy the crib and I don't want to take advantage.
I'm confused. How are these different from a regular crib? LOL. I'm an idiot.
@daybyday: You're not an idiot. However, lots of people stay more towards something that looks like these

I don't like the black and white mixture on the second, it it were one or the other I think I would really like it.
I love them! I have to steal your idea. As we are in a 1 bdr apt, the crib will be in our room so it is great to see something that will work with our overall style. Thanks for the inspiration!
The quatrefoil one is all over the internet. Here it is on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Twinkle-Crib-Tone-Espresso-White/dp/B005FW0PCG
@UpstateCait: LOL that is the first thing that popped into my mind too!
I like the second one better, although I woudl prefer the entire thing be in the darker wood.
@mwitter80: Do you have a pic of what the room will look like or room inspiration pics? I actually retract my previous statement .. upon further inspection I would still go with #1
@CanadianMermaid: it depends on the gender here our are inspiration nursery pics though

@mwitter80: I LOVE your inspiration pics! I like both cribs, but since we're gender neutral we're going more tradtional... like the ones you posted (specifially the one on the left since it transitions to a full size bed)
Here's our 'modern' crib. Just set it up this weekend! It's a Monza II by Stork Craft.
Sorry I don't like either one. I personally pefer the traditional style myself
I like the second one but I really like the progressive cribs where you can buy a bed and its good for YEARS. As much as I would love to get a super cute, modern crib, I know we will end up getting a nicer one that we can use until the child is too old or it falls apart.
@cvbee: I had this one on my narrowed down list! DH dislikes anything curvy but me :) so he vetoed it.
@Ms Hedgehog: Both of the one's I showed transition to toddler beds and the first one to a full. DH's son had a traditional one and when it came time that he out grew the toddler bed, we bought him bunks. I don't think that we will end up using the convertible after the toddler transition with this one either, so for us it doesn't make sense.
@mwitter80: Wow , I love the inspiration pictures - I think #1 would go really well in both of those rooms
I like them both, but I'm also a huge fan of Oeuf cribs. I'm pretty sure we're going with the Sparrow ourselves.
Here's a few other options:

This one comes in a bunch of colors
They're having a sale at Zulily on these cribs if you want them, here it is: http://www.zulily.com/e/babyletto-010812.html?#pid_971067
I think they're super cute!
I prefer cribs that have a bit more visual definition (and not completely straight all the way around like #1), but not necessarily the "traditional crib look.
The third crib in bree72's post is close to what I mean by visual definition, yet still modern.
To me, straight around the top with bars all around the side just reminds me of a baby prison. Silly, I know. I told DH something similar this weekend and he said "all cribs look like baby prisons."
they are beautiful, i like them both but i'm not a fan of color white. i find browns and grays look nicer.

What do you think about these more modern style cribs?
